Celtics trade Thornton, Cavs 2016 first round pick

Suns trade Thomas

Celtics were one of Thomas's biggest suitors in free agency this past summer so they may want to try again to acquire him to provide instant offense off the bench.

Suns now see committed to resigning Dragic this summer and won't trade him now. The biggest reason Dragic will leave is that he doesn't like the fact that Thomas is cutting into his playing time at PG this season, so swapping out Thomas for Thornton (who can provide scoring off the bench) plus a future pick is a good return for a player they never should of signed.
