Wherever KD goes, he will not sign a 4 year deal unless there's a player option every year. His max this summer will be 30% of the cap ($90M) . His max the following year would be 35% of the cap ($110). It makes the most sense to sign a one year max deal, then sign a 4 year max deal the following year.

If KD goes to the Lakers, I don't see it happening until 2017. I think he'll try one more year in OKC on a 1 year max deal and if they don't make it to the finals, he'll leave. Lakers have to use this offseason to put the right pieces in place to have a chance at getting him in 2017. If we get lucky and get Simmons that would be perfect.
