Spurs do not need to trade to get Paul, He is likely opting out.

-They don't have cap space to sign him.
- Don't see Pau turning down 16 mil, although he might.
-Spurs get CP, Clippers get assets which they desperately need.

If CP leaves, hopefully Doc follows suit.

I think the Spurs are better off trading some of their bigger contracts for smaller contracts and picks.

Sounds like Pau is serious about opting in to stay with the Spurs, don't know if he would do so if it was to get traded.
