Regardless of the injury history, Griffin is worth much more than that. McRoberts is a useless contract, and 14 is barely a lottery pick.

I'm not sure what Miami's cap situation looks like especially with Bosh's scenario but assuming this trade is viable then Miami could probably just sign Griffin outright and keep their lottery pick. Sign and trades are typically when a player wants to go to a team but they don't quite have the cap space. If Griffin could just sign there outright why would he want his new team giving up an asset like #14 that could be used as trade bait to help fill out the roster and turn them into a contender.
