The Cavs get Delly, Beverly, and Jordan

The Bucks get Shumpert, Lou Williams, and Griffin

The Clippers get Frye (waive), Teletovic, Osman, Zizic, Thompson, Brogdon, Maker, Parker, and the Brooklyn 1st

The Clippers should go in a rebuilt mode indeed.

The Cavs take a big gamle, they risk to lose IT, LBJ and Jordan, all for nothing and they don't have the Nets pick anymore for a rebuilt.

The Bucks say No! No way Milwaukee is trading, Brogdan, Maker, or Parker. Maybe Dellavedova, Teletovic, And Vaughn? The Clippers are sure getting a lot, 9 players and waive one? ) While NOT giving up much? Milwaukee doesn't need Shumpert, Williams or Griffin. (They give up 5 players to get 3 back? ) They need a Center (Okafor? ) . The Cavaliers need all the help they can get!

Dark side, the Bucks desperately need a second star or they're going to end up like the Cavs during the first Lebron era and Giannis will walk.

Agree with bucks needing another star or Giannis could walk like to see durant giannis and Unicorn on the same team sky is the limit.

@ rkenne_16, Agreed, Bledsoe was suppose to be it. But, I don't think Shumpert, Lou Williams or Griffin is the answer. Where would Griffin play? Giannis is now Milwaukee's PF, When Parker gets back, he will be the SF. I would like to see the Bucks trade Vaughn and a 2nd. rd. pick to the 76ers for Okafor. They need a Center. Henson is just a tall skinny PF playing Center, as is Maker. Give the Bucks some time. Bledsoe just got there. Middleton hopefully will pickup his game, as will Snell. Then Parker will be back. Milwaukee does need a 2nd star, (If that's what you want to call it) but, They need a center first.

@ rkenne_16, Who is the "2nd star" at Cleveland? Love? I Thomas? Tristan Thompson? J R Smith? Give Milwaukee some time, Let them get a Center (Okafor) Let Brogdan (ROY) work with the 2nd team. Milwaukee doesn't need a 2nd star, They need to work as a team. One player can score 20-30-40-50-60. If the team isn't playing, it doesn't matter. let's see what Parker does when he gets back (Feb? ) He was suppose to be the 2nd "Star" before.

Irving was the second star and IT can become the second star.
And Love is a great PF, he's still a star.

Darkside, I would take IT or Love over any player other than GA on the Bucks roster. Middleton and Bledsoe are good, but not allstars. Brogdon could be a star, but he doesn't look like a high upside guy and I'm fairly sceptical that Parker can even get back to where he was. Plus, someone is giving him a fairly big contract in the offseason no matter what. It seems like a fairly big roll of the dice for the Bucks, who might have cap problems fairly soon.
Griffin would clearly be the 2nd best player on that team and maybe the best 2nd option in the East. There is no reason to think he can't start at the 5. There aren't many centers in the league who will physically over match him and he would be a nightmare for opposing centers to deal with on the perimeter.
Henson is clearly a center in today's league (a career back up center, but look at the pfs on decent teams, Henson doesn't have the offensive skill to matche them and will struggle defensively on the perimeter) and while Maker looks like he has the skills to develop into a pf, his best position at this point.

Irving WAS the second star, (Gone, expendable) I Thomas will NOT be a great PG, just a PG. Love might be a Good PF but, NOT a great! Right now, Love is playing Center, And he's NOT a great one! Still a Star?, Or just another option? If L. James leaves, Cleveland will become what they were when James left the first time. Just another team in the East. And nothing more. Young players don't have a chance in Cleveland. What's the average age there? 30-34? Bottom line, Cleveland needs all the help they can get, Then let them play.

rkenne_16, Any other player? You would take IT or Love for? WOW! Well I guess we all have our favorites. IT will see what Irving was talking about when he starts playing. I don't know about Brogdan and Parker, I have to see Parker play a full season without getting hurt. Brogdan was ROY last year, Now plays with the second unit, So, Will have to see? Griffin is a 6'9" PF. I don't see him as a Center anywhere? 2nd best option in the East? There are still Centers Gasol (Brothers) who would more than match up with him, he's too short for todays Centers, and more Centers Also shoot from outside. Henson and Maker are tall PF's and nothing more. No offensive skills, (Maker's 3 pointers? ) And Henson's left hook? Well, I guess we just have different views. That works for me.

Love has been an allstar 4 of the last 7 years, including last year and one of the years he missed most of the season.

IT has been an allstar the last 2 years, was an MVP candidate last year, and the best player on the 2nd best team in the East.

Take Lebron off of the Cavs and if they can stay relatively healthy, they make the playoffs. The team would have little upside and would be better rebuilding, but a starting line up of IT Jr Crowder Love and TT with a bench of Rose Shumpert Korver Green and Frye makes the playoffs. If you take Giannis off the Bucks, you have a team similiar to the Suns.

Darkside any player on the Bucks roster other than Giannis, not any player in the league.
Blake is 6 10 250 ( the average height of an nba center take from the combine is 6 11 and almost no NBA centers have Griffins leaping ability) He's not going to get pushed around by many Centers and on the offensive end, how many centers have the skill on the perimeter and athleticism to guard Blake?
Now let's look at players in the NBA currently playing significant time at pf Arron Gordon, Lebron/ Love/ Jeff Green, Green/ Durant, Horford/ Morris, Morris/ Porter, Ibaka, Aldridge/ gay, Ryan Anderson, Porzingis, Davis, Griffin, Giannis/ Parker, Saric, Kuzma/ Randle, Millsapp/ Chandler, Dieng, etc. All of those players can be effective on the perimeter. A hook shot isn't going to get it done for a pf anymore this isn't 1987 and Henson would struggle guarding those guys and it takes him away from the basket much more often where he's at his best blocking shots. He's a center. Again, I think Maker can develop into a starting pf, but as raw as he is on offense and him still getting used to having to consistently guard the perimeter, C is currently his best position until his game develops.

Without James, I don't think the Cavs will make the playoffs. They are having a difficult time just winning games now. It was a allstar and MVP candidate with Boston, he's missed to many games to be considered now. Plus staying healthy is the key word. Shumpert is currently out for the next 1-2 weeks with a knee issue. The Cavs would be better rebuilding. With that lineup you stated, Its also possible they won't make the playoffs. No doubt you're a Cavs. fan. I have no team I'm a fan of. Just a basketball fan. I believe Boston wins the East this year.

I would take IT or Love over any one except GA on the Bucks current roster. I don't think Parker will ever develop into anything more than a third option at this point, I feel the same about Middleton and Bledsoe. Brogdon could, but I doubt it. Griffin is clearly better than all of them by a wide margin.

Also, while at some point Maker could be a starting 4, Henson is clearly a player than can almost only play the 5 in todays league. He's a career backup center.
Griffin could play the 5. There aren't any huge mismatches for him to guard, specifically in the East, and he would be a mismatch for most other centers. It's not like Blake would even be all that undersized at the position.

I think Lou can play the backup pg or sg for the Bucks who could have Giannis and Blake stay in the game opposite of him and be the initiator of the offense. Shumpert can come in and be a versatile defender off the bench.

Also, how is Blake Griffin, Jordan, Williams and Beverly not much? Griffin and Jordan are both all NBA players, Williams is one of the better scorers in the league, and Beverly is probably the best defensive pg in the league. I'm not sure why the number of players coming back matter? In almost every trade for an allstar you see a package of players and picks coming back. Its not like players like Teletovic and Delly have much value.

Darkside, I am a Cavs fan, but clearly, you're a closet Bucks fan. All of you're posts on this site are about the Bucks and tend to skew in their favor.

A closet Bucks fan? Actually no, I live in Wisconsin. I don't live in Ohio, Plus the fact I'm NOT a bandwagon jumper! I post about local teams, Nothing more. Pity, Understand one thing, Most peoples "opinions" are like most peoples "backsides" The majority of them "Stink! " Now, Don't you have some Cavaliers to cheer for? Oddly enough, The majority of posters her, actually think their ideas count? Like some GM is going to read it and go, "HEY! " that's what WE should do. For me, Its "Grins and Giggles" and nothing more! You wouldn't happen to have a "fantasy" team also would you? Enjoy your day!

@RKenne You stated. Dark side, the Bucks desperately need a second star or they're going to end up like the Cavs during the first Lebron era and Giannis will walk.

NOW you know why i reject all the lame Cousins trade ideas.

Clearly, since you've went back and forth with me for a small book, you're just as invested in the site as I or anyone else is. No need to be pretentious and condescending.

Dacman, the difference in situations is Blake is locked up long term. Cousins may walk after the season and outside of the two bigs, the Pelicans roster is bad and they have no money, picks or players with much value.
