Trades involving teams that need to start rebuilding

Grizz trade Gasol to Celtics for lakers 18 pick, yabusele, and maybe another protected pick

Grizz trade Conley and McLemore for Faried, Mudiay, Murray, and Arthur (maybe any kind of pick if needed)

Clips trade Jordan to Bucks for Henson, Teletovic, Brodgon and protected 1st

Where did the Celtics get 18 million in cap?

I think Gasol window for C’S is over now heading in different directions and bottom line you still got to beat Warriors I don’t think Gasol is the key piece they need.

The only teams that could use Gasol and fits the timeline are cleveland, Houston, toronto, spurs and golden state. And maybe OKC.

It would be hard for the Celtics to match Gasol's salary without giving up a ton of their rotation or Horford. If you could put him beside Horford, I think he would be a great match for their system with his ability to pass, shoot, and defend, but like Gasupo and Rad said, he's to old for that team.

I don't think that's bad at all for the Griz, but I've read rumors that they weren't willing to include Murray in talks for Irving and if he wasn't on the table for Irving, I doubt he would be on the table for Conley.

If I'm the Bucks, I'm not sure I throw in the first. The Clippers asking price appears to be high right now, but I think it comes down since most of the teams potentially in the running for him don't have a ton of assets they're willing to trade. Reports say Cleveland is in the running and even if they get back into talks that probably means they have no interest in adding the Nets pick. Toronto and Washington don't have many young assets to add (none I would consider better than Brogdon) and I doubt the Celtics can match his salary in a deal that makes sense for them.

agree bucks shouldn't offer the pick.
