Why in the world would George re-sign with the Pacers, ending up in NBA purgatory. I doubt that he ends up leaving OKC.

I feel like you should read that comment again Yumbo, because if George resigns in OKC, he also stays stuck in NBA purgatory. The thunder aren’t going anywhere either.

Heck, right now Indiana has a better record than OKC. Add George to that and they’re a top 3 seed in the east. Not saying he goes back (I highly doubt that), but it’s not like Indy is devoid of talent. They have a current all star, and two incredibly talented young bigs.

Just can't see any way that George would go back to Indy after all that happened.

I do like the trade offer and think that adding Kemba would be great for that team.

Bmiller, it doesn't say "IF", and there's still no way George resigns with Indy. If he wanted to play there, he wouldn't have forced his way out on the first place.

This was a ruse to garner comment, and debate right? Re-sign Thaddeus Young? Paul George to Indy? Walker being traded to Indy for practically nothing? Did I fall asleep, and fall down a rabbit hole?

Indy is the best chance for PG13, to win a title. He wouldn't resign, because, Indy couldn't give him a chance on a title.
This team does that, i'know i'm dreaming, But a team with Oladipo, Walker, turner, Sabonis and PG13, can win a championship.

Two draft picks and a young talent is a good offer for a pointguard this days.

Indy is capable of Jefferson, or T. Young for B. knight, and a first round pick for taking injured Knight. Praying Knight produces, but gaining an asset. That is the market Indy is in. Unless a situation like with Irving, or Mirotic pops up, and Indy has the assets to pull it off. Build the team, swinging for the fences for guys like Walker is what gets teams in trouble. Nets-Garnett/ Pierce, NY-Anthony. Maybe even DET-Griffin.
