Gilchrest is worth about a tenth of what it appears you think he is. I think Wiggins is overrated, but MGK really does nothing on the offensive end and is a good defender, but not a great one. There were rumors that the Hornets were thinking about dumping him for salary relief. They'd be lucky to get his salary off the books and get a 2nd for him.

Next season if Wiggins shows no improvement by trade deadline then I can reasonably think a deal could be made for him. He has shown some brilliance this season just can't put back to back performances together. Typical young player learning curve. He's a smart guy, he'll figure it out I think. Trading him for 2 players who also have the same problem, inconsistency, doesn't seem smart for MIN.

Thibs loves defense, and the scoring punch left by Wiggins can easily be produced by Towns, Teague and Butler. Marvin provideds stability off the bench. Wiggins would give the Hornets a up and coming star but they would probably have to part with a draft pick to make this trade work.
