Magic Offseason-

1. Fire Frank Vogel, fire entire front office.

2. Hire Chris Fleming as the new head coach. He is the current Nets Assistant coach and the Brooklyn is having a more successful season than expected. Still a bottom five team but they have shown some signs of growth this season. He also worked overseas for 15 years where he racked up championships in Germany.

3. Hire David Griffin (former Cavs GM) as their new GM to begin full rebuild.

4. Draft night trade:

Magic Receive-8th overall pick (projected), 47th overall pick (projected), and Cameron Payne

Bulls Receive- 4th overall pick, Shelvin Mack

5. Magic draft:
-Collin Sexton (pg) with the 8th overall pick (projected)

-Kenrich Williams (sf) with the 40th overall pick (projected)

-Goga Bitadze (c) with the 47th overall pick (projected)

6. Assign Williams and Bitadze to the G-League

7. Resign Aaron Gordon to a maximum contract

8. Trade:

Magic Receive: Andre Roberson, Alex Abrines, 2020 top 8 protected first round pick, 2019 second round pick

Thunder Receive: Evan Fournier

9. Sign Seth Curry to a 1 year 8 million dollar contract
-He will be a nice starting shooting guard to get buckets

10. Sign Ersan Illyasova to the veterans minimum

I don't like the trade. Moving up 4 spots at that part of the draft should cost the Bulls more than Payne, who's been a non factor on a bad team and a 2nd. I don't think it should be as much as Philly gave up to go 3 to 1, but either a lottery protected pick or a young player with starting potential.

1, they just hired an all new front office last year, and were strapped from the previous regime. Hammond has done a good job everywhere he went, and just needs time to change the direction. Also Orlando has had too many coaches in the past decade, no need to change.

2, They went the young hot assistant route already.

3, Griffin did nothing with arguably the best player ever.

4, Should be self explanatory, but that's just bad.

5, 4th (or better) Young has more upside and better scorer.

6, whew

7, I like Gordon. He's the only player close to stardom. Not worth a max though.

8, we already own their pick

9, no need unless you find another trade

10, ok I guess. Think he'd rather contribute on a winning team if making less, than sitting 3rd on a losing bench

11, Afflalo hasn't done anything for this team, not even as mentorship goes.

Cam Payne is not a sweetener to move down four spots for.

David Griffin won a chip with Lebron buddy.

football father I have trouble seeing what you're saying, Aaron Gordon is the only player that they have on the team. They need to pay him. Tre Young is a massive defensive liability and there is a lot of question about how he will fair in the NBA. Collin Sexton is built, athletic, a great defender and passer AND he can shoot. Afflalo is just their to fill up a roster spot and he is a good mentor. You literally are an amateur when it comes to basketball knowledge. Bye-Bye!

Triangle O Cam Payne is a young player and the pick is the focal point of the deal.

Tostitochip, be real man. If you think that Cam Payne gets you a chance to move up four spots, then I would love to sell you Patti Mills for pick 8 alone.

Aaron Gordon is all they have, but that doesn't mean he deserves a max though. They tend to be close in the end of games, and need someone who they can finally trust to hit the last shot. They haven't had one. Even when d12 was here, that was the issue.

Most of their picks including Gordon offer the last 4 years have been for defense. They need to establish a winning culture. Also I think Orlando drafted a pg not too long ago, who was a good defender/ passer about that high in the draft, can't remember, oh yeah we just traded him for a 2nd.
