Lakers/ Spurs offseason

To LAL: Kawhi Leonard

To SAS: Ingram, Kuzma, 2018 1st via CLE

I'm a Spurs fan, and I'm a little concerned with the KL situation right now. If it's true that he's intentionally sitting out though cleared, the Spurs may want to look at a deal for him.

If they do put him on the market, there is no doubt that the Lakers would have interest. At $21M for next year, the Lakers could still have up to $60M to add two more stars and make a Super team. Their is also a good likelihood that KL resigns in La La at the end of next year.

Spurs start the rebuild with two quality young pieces, and an additional 2018 pick. Adding Ingram, Kuz, and two picks (Landry Shammet and Brandon McCoy? ), along with a sell high on LMA could reset the Spurs for 2018-19 and beyond.

LA should include Ball in the trade and maybe keep Kuzma.

Spurs don't need ball.

Since its reported he went to see a specialist in New York its safe to say he's injured. He may be cleared, but that specialist could have recommended a more cautious approach. 20-25 games left in the season. Not too big of a deal. Families argue. Good communication prevails. Anything is possible.

I can't see the Lakers giving up 2 of their 3 elite prospects without bailing on Deng.
