The Knicks signed hardaway to a bad contract and need picks to rebuild. Now more than ever since Porzinigas probably won't be back to start the season and Portland needs an upgrade at small forward without breaking the bank.

The Knicks get Evan Turner, a Portland 1st lottery protected, and a 2nd

The Blazers get Hardaway

I like this for the trade.
They should rebuilt with draft picks, taking bad contracts to get some extra picks, but i doubt Dolan would do that :-)

Forget pick I trade Hardaway to move Noah right now.

Hardaway doesn't move Noah - he's negative value as well.

Okayyy. Evan Turner is on a worse deal than HardawayJr., Hardaway Jr. isn't even on a bad contract. He's averaging 17, 3, and 4. He is one of very few bright spots for the Knicks. Besides, no team is going to be able to afford Noah and Hardaway without giving up two more bad contracts. Tell me is it really worth the Knicks trading Noah and Hardaway just to receive 2 bad contracts and a pick that will be in the late first round? This trade just doesn't make any sense. The Knicks will have to use picks to move Noah or just buy him out.
