Blazers would be on drugs to not take this offer. Lakers probably not offering such a deal. They have been a stingy bunch with pelinka and Johnson.

@btec i wouldn't call giving up russell in a salary dump “stingy”. sure they got the pick that became kuzma but that was a more of a happy accident.

I was thinking of not dealing youth or picks to unload deng.

Why is this so good for Portland btec? They get a couple nice young role players, a horrible contract, and a late first for an all NBA player locked in for a few more years.

And i think the biggest reason they pass is Ball. His family would be miserable in a small market, especially one like Portland. If he was a Lebron caliber talent, he’s worth the headache. But not with being a nice prospect with a small chance at being a star.

@bmiller ball and ingram are far closer to future all-stars than role players.

Ball and Ingram both more than just role players and look at the jump Ingram made from year 1 to year 2. They're both starting caliber players with a ton of upside. I'm not sure you trade Lilliard unless you're going full rebuild, but that's a pretty high end package for anyone.

Lakers get an all nba player who is also a choker in the playoffs. Yes lakers should not trade more young pieces they should trust the process as well.

Donadamsky "STINGY" was meant as a compliment about their fiscal responsibility as opposed to previous jim buss who signed anyone in a uni and basketball shoes.
