spurs get Lowry and Derozan.


then raptors trade Ibaka and sign Bradley Avery

I can't see the Spurs wanting something like that. Lowry is probably hard to trade with his contract. There just aren't a lot of win now teams and there are less that need a pg. plusnthere are a ton of teams that are having huge cap problems.

Lowry is a 4 time all star and his contract ends when he's 33. His contract is not bad. He's also very much a typical SA type of guy. I think he'd be a great pickup for the Spurs.

I think if SA got this offer, they should jump at it.

That said, this wouldn't be very smart for the Raptors, as I can't see Leonard resigning when he's the only great player on the roster. They'd be better off just keeping their core together and be good.

I wouldn't keep the core together, but I agree that this is not the trade for either team to jump at.

A Raptors team with Kawhi and a bunch of young guys doesn't lend itself to him resigning. Spurs are going to want younger Spurs type assets for him. I don't like the Lowry, Derozan combo in SAS.

I think Derozan for something like Kuzma, Hart and a 1st is more interesting return for the Raps.

Lowry sucks. Did anyone notice that Toronto was his only real option when he was a free agent? No one else wanted him.

raptors just need to change there roster a little they need fresh legs at PG and more shooters. if they can trade Lowry for a younger scoring PG through in wright and ibaka for more shooters they would be set. of course they need a young PG and resign vanfleet if not keep wright and hopefully bring in a 3rd of or undrafted player.
