I don't see why Phoenix wouldn't do this PHXfan. They don't give up anything useful (Dudley and Chandler) . They get an all star in return for using the cap space they likely won't use anyway.

Aren't second banana's useful? If Doncic turns into a star, you've got two star wings and a great third option.

When did it become such a bad thing to be just a really really good player (Love and Aldridge stick out as good examples) .

if melo is going to sign, it has to be on the premise he is coming off the bench. bradley-george-lebron is a much better lineup. melo has to get over his own ego and realize its the best way to extend his career.

Bmiller, the Suns have been tanking and keeping a young team to allegedly "grow together so, there is little need to a guy like Love who'd play like 40 games, get hurt and want to leave anyway. Dudley and Chandler are dead weight true, but are under expiring deals so, their value is greater to PHX than having a limited Korver and a locker room knucklehead. Besides, there surely are better deals to be made elsewhere. Contrary to a lot of what is on this site, not all NBA deals have to include the flotsam in Cleveland. don't they?
