Might be able to get something at the deadline for gortat but the buyout if he's willing to take a little less isn't a bad idea before season starts.

Washington signing Howard would be like throwing a match into a powder keg. Unless a team has a really strong lockerroom Howard is a bad idea.

I'd rather see Dwightmare in Beantown than Gortat. Howard said he wants a chance to win, and for 1 yr I think Ainge should take that chance.

Billj, I don't think that would be a terrible idea, but after getting Williams, who can come in and probably give a good team 20 minutes a night is it really a necessary risk for the Celtics? The Celtics seem to have a good and stable lockerroom, but I'm not sure I want Dwight around a pretty young group of guys.

rk, I can agree, but for a 1 yr deal I think Howard would be a more major contributor than Williams. If the experiment didn't work out by TD then he could be moved for picks.


I would have a hard time trying to believe Howard could change but if he would for 1 yr it could pay off with a championahip.
