I believe the Cavs should hold on to Sexton he has good potential, and I don't think they should trade away their valueable young assets there is no reason for them to trade away the furture and try to win now unless they get a crazy offer for Sexton, Hood, or Osman. Because let's be honest you might make it to the finals in the East, but if u don't have either 2 stars and a perfect system and perfect role players around the two stars or 3 stars and still good depth you won't even stand a chance in the finals, you saw what just happened with Cavs and warriors that was with LeBron and the same players they have now that trade will not help them in the finals so no point. in a couple years Hood (already good), Osman, and Sexton can all be very good two way players which is important in this league.

Signing Love was about keeping your best assets in house. It doesn’t even mean he can’t be traded later this season. Sexton and Osman would take godfather offers to get and even guys like Hood, Nance, and Zizic would take over market value offers to get. The Cavs aren’t going all in on a core of flawed older veterans. They weren’t even willing to do that with Lebron on the roster.

You’re right Hood and Osman will ball, along with Sexton! Why would cavs take on allll that money, whenever they can get most guys off the books next year?
