Mavs get Hayward Kanter C's 2019 1st
C's get Porzingis Mathews Hardaway Burke
Knicks get Irvings Yubesele Jordan
Ojeleye Kleber-cut

Mavs have solid starting 5 and key vets on bench to playoff run. Risk of taking on Hayward gets late 1st

48-34
Smith/Barea/Brunson
Doncic/Harris/Baker
Hayward/Hopson/Smith
Barnes/Powell/Spalding
Kanter/Dirk/Mejri

Celtics might loose Irving to NY as it is. Hayward may never be the same player. Clearing out of his contract is a safe risk. Porzingis might put C's as a legitimate contender ahead of the raptors and sixers. With out 2 more picks

60-22
Rozier/Burke/Wanamaker
Brown/Smart/Bird
Tatum/Hardaway/Mathews
Horford/Morris/Williams
Porzingis/Baynes/Theis

Knicks loose their star unicorn to get better sooner without thinking of 2019 free agency or dump lee noah 2019 1st for Shumpert Randolph Koufos and purse fa next yr or This allows them to think 2020 free agency where they can be contender with additional 60 in cap space. Many options

50-32
Irving/Ntilikina/Mudiay
Lee/Hezonja/Shumpert
Knox/Ojeleye/Dotson
Yubesele/Vonleh/Thomas
Jordan/Robinson/Noah

Not a chance that the Celtics move Irving and Hayward at all, never mind for that package. Ridiculous.

Irving and Hayward are not going anywhere -- especially for a guy who might not even play until the All-Star break, if even that. Celtics are good at center with the Baynes/ Horford/ Theis mix. Mathews, Hardaway and Burke might not even be rotation players in Boston.

I’d take Irving or Hayward over Porzingis. Both for him is ludicrous.

Ok but when Irving leaves and Hayward not worth 35 mil per yr don't get mad at me. Irving already had 3 knee surgeries. Mathews clears you of Hayward. Hardaway will be worth Hayward for 1/ 2 the cost. Obviously, the trade won't happen Porzingis announce a December trade.

Are you the only one that doesn’t realize that Hardaway isn’t all that good. He’s at best a player you can bring off the bench to get buckets and at worst a black hole that takes touches away from guys that can score far more efficiently. If you want a guy like that you could trade for one on a better contract. Rodney Hood is a more efficient version of that with more upside and he couldn’t even get an offer sheet. Comparing Hardaway to Hayward is ridiculous. There isn’t 1 area of the game Hardaway where Hardaway is more productive.

Irving is not playing for the knicks next season. That franchise is still in rebuild mode. Porzingis is more likely to go to Boston than Irving to New York. Unless its Brooklyn we're talking about and other guys are going there to form the mythical super-team. Both scenarios are highly unlikely. 100:1 odds.

I’m a bit confused as to your definition of efficient scoring. Hood shoots at a lower fg percentage.

You say more upside, but they have played the same amount.

Care to explain or is it just a homer comment?

Hardaway is paid too much. Simple as that. But the guy has a solid place in the league. More so a 6th man.

I do find it funny that supercollider is so dillusional he thinks that the 10th man on the Celtics is an all star level player. At least he must if he claims everyone would fail to be in their rotation.

I’m still curious why Celtics fans are so cocky about the team. You didn’t even make the finals. You’ll have excuses and reasons. But you accomplished the exact same as the suns. You didn’t win the conference. You didn’t win in the playoffs. Awesome.

That's funny coming from a fan 9f a team that hasn't even sniffed the playoffs since Bernard king.

Knicks, Hood gives you 1.18 points per shot compared to Hardaway giving you 1.14 pps. Shooting percentage is a pretty flimsy stats. Hood has 1 fewer years in the league, he’s bigger, and he’s a better shooter. It’s splitting hairs, but in the end they’re comparable players and Hood’s contract will end up being significantly less.

The point is Hardaway would be pretty hard to trade without taking bad money back or including assets. There was probably some exaggeration in there though after seeing Shizzee compare Hardaway to Hayward.

Bigger star had just as bad injuries and never recovered fully (Grant Hill. )

I’m fairly sure the doctors said there was minimal ligament damage and comparing an injury from 2 decades ago to now is pointless. Sports medicine is miles ahead of where it was at that point.

Irving and Jordan are both free agents next year and can possibly leave so knicks trade there whole starting 5 for 2 players that are on 1 yr rentals? Lol makes no sense.
