Not bad. I think finding a third team for Favors that needs a center and has some bad contracts would be best for the Cavs to maximize the return for Love. Utah needs more offense. They don’t have a real 2nd option. Also, Rubio and Love worked together well in Minnesota. I’m not sure about all the talk of Utah trying to keep cap space. It’s hard to see them getting a good free agent without over spending. They can protect Love and he can really help unclog the lane for them.

The Jazz would never be able to get out of the Love deal if they traded for it, and he wasn't what they need. The defense would matter. This year a lot. Favors is 10 times the defender Love is. They could trade Favors, Rubio and Burks but I wouldn't really expect it. Letting them all walk is possible. Burks isn't a hot commodity, Favors would be good in a lot of places, but they have nothing to offer in return. Same as Rubio, Suns, Magic could use him, but wouldn't trade value for him. Jazz should retain all these guys for cheap, and keep an eye out for a stretch 4, that can shoot the three, and play perimeter D. Let jerebko go because his 3 was spotty, and he is a terrible defender.

Love is a much better fit than Favors in Utah Btec. The issue the Jazz have now is that both he and Gobert can’t play together for long stretches as they sort of trip over each other. Love can stay on the perimeter on offense and allow for more spacing.

I'd rather have ilyasova for the money if I could. In Utah anyway. I think he'd be great for the Lakers or Rockets.

Love would be great for the rockets or Lakers. Not Ilyasova. Ilyasova is just fine where he is for now.
