Impossible right now cause Portland is winning but for argument's sake.. what do you think of this trade?

If all of a sudden Lillard is unhappy in Portland....

POR-LAL

Lillard
For
Ingram, Ball, KCP

Fair trade? If no... how to make it fair?

it's a fair trade, but like you say, Portland is winning, so why would they do this?

Ingram and Ball would need to be part of a deal, and are a nice baseline, but with Lillard still having multiple years on his deal, he’s going to have more value and I think an additional asset or two (1st or 1sts) are going to be needed.

Honestly, with Bron and Ball on the team, I don’t think PG is where they look to make their splash. I think it’s someone like AD well before it’s Dame.

I don’t think it’s fair value. I don’t see Ball as anything more than a middle of the road starting PG (he’ll never be a top 10 player at PG) . Ingram is nice, but is he a #1 option ever?

Lillard has taken another step forward. He looks absolutely amazing this year. It would take an enormous trade to pry him away until his contract is close to ending.

I said it a couple months ago, and it’s clear now: those trade packages that people want to put together for Davis is what it would take to make Portland consider moving Lillard.

Ingram, KCP, Stephenson are expendable so far. Whether it was Butler or even Love I'd trade those 3 for a better player. Problem is the word is out teams have see the Lakers play. Ingram didn't make any strides this last summer. He is a black hole right now. Ball, Hart, Kuzma, Wagner are great. Ingram would never get lillard or Love where we are at right now. Kcp, Stephenson have little value as well. Though, I think Kcp isn't being used to his strength but that's because it's LBJ's strength!

I think its a good trade idea if, as you stated, the Blazers were losing. Solid idea.

I was wrong, Cavs are rebuilding Ingram would actually be good there. He could develop with sexton. He needs the time.
