Pelicans Rebuild (offseason)

NOP- Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart, Jaylon Brown, Robert Williams, 2019 SAC pick and 2019 LAC pick

BOS- Anthony Davis

Boston has coveted Davis since it was a possibility he would be available. Tatum took a step back this year, but still shows potential. NO gets 3 very good players, an upside player in Williams, and two picks.

NOP- Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard, 2019 1st

DET- Jrue Holiday

NO gets an expiring contract in Jackson, a good shooter in Kennard and a top 10 pick. DET gets another good player to pair with Blake and Drummond

DRAFT
7 (DET)- Darius Garland, PG
8 (NOP)- Bol Bol, C
12 (SAC)- Sekou Doumbouya, PF
18 (LAC)- Kris Wilkes, SF

Garland and Bol can rotate in 2019 behind Jackson and Randle. Both players contracts expire after the season so Bol and Garland can step into the rotation in 2020. Wilkes and Doumbouya are upside picks that could grow into very good players.

C- Julius Randle/Bol Bol
PF- Robert Williams/Sekou Doumbouya
SF- Jayson Tatum/Kris Wilkes
SG- Jaylon Brown/Luke Kennard
PG- Reggie Jackson/Marcus Smart/Darius Garland

This team has a lot of potential and depth. It could make for a fast turnaround if they hit on these picks. Tatum Brown Smart are all proven players. If Bol and Garland turn out the way they should, this team could easily be a playoff team by 2021.

Pels won't get all that for Davis.
A starter (Tatum), another rotation player and at most two No. 1s.

firt trade i like, second i dislike Jackson is a deal killer, Pels could rebuild around Holiday unless they get a strong deal for him, Farstronger than that.

The first is solid. The deal for Holiday is pretty awful for NOs though. I don’t see the point. I’m more in the blow it up camp, but with what they’re getting the could be competitive fairly soon. Unless they can get good young talent out of Holiday, why do it?

The first trade is too much. You are not getting 3 starters and William's plus both of those pics
I wait until the end of the season to de declare Tatum having taken a step back. There a ton of basketball left, including the playoffs.

Detroit won't do that trade.
