Only way Atlanta can sign Durant, Horford, and Bazemore.
Renouncing everybody except Horford. Leaving cap hit at $68 million.
Have to find a trade partner for Teague and Splitter. Probably like Dallas for instance. They need a PG and C. Freeing up another $17 million. While taking back a future 1st round pick. Since Dallas can absorb the contracts with out sending anything back.
With $41 million Atl can max out Durant for 27 million. Sign Bazemore for 10 million. And a back up PG like DJ Augustine for about 2 million.
After those signings then Horford is resigned allowin Hawks to go over cap space owning his full bird rights.
Draft thon maker at 21 and resign Humphries for vet minimum.
It is a pipe dream for a fan but possible.

I don't see Durant wanting to play in Atlanta, and Bazemore sadly will get closer to $15M.

Bazemore take a 1 year deal for 6 million. Number that would make him still not countowards cap space owning his early bird rights. next year reward with a big contract now ownin his full bird rights
Hawks then package Teague, splitter, and 1st to to Dallas for Dwight Powell. Salary dump and dallas can absorb the contracts. 17 million more off the books.
Next part is just dreaming. Horford must wait to sign after the free agents since owning his full bird rights. Cap Max around 92 million next season. Hawks are sitting at 44 million.
Sign Durant for 4 yrs 100million
Sign Ian Mahimi 2 yrs 14million
Sign Jeff Green 2 yrs 11million
Resign Kris Humphries 2 yrs 6 million
Resign Al Horford 4 years 90 million.
Sign mario Chalmers to vet min.

Let me break it down for you:
Let's assume the Hawks waive Scott and Patterson and their non-guaranteed contracts. They still have $52.7 in guaranteed contracts for next year.
The players that are free agents this summer from there team still carry cap holds with them until a team renounces that free agent. What this does is also renounce the use of their Bird Rights if they have them. You want to resign Horford using his Bird Rights which would allow them to go over the cap to resign him. He has an $18M cap hold. That puts the total salary with holds at $70.7 M.
This only leaves the Hawks with about $21.3M in cap space to sign free agents. You have to split that $21.3M in cap space between Durant, Mahinmi, Green, Bazemore, and Humphries.
Not enough cap space to do these moves. They do have exceptions they can use (the largest being the MLE @ $5.6M) .

I like for the Hawks. But if they are sending out that much salary. Something like 40 plus million they can and losing Horford's 12 million Undertaker and Lopez's salary like 25 but they still have enough money for another Max free agent I would love to see if Bradley Beal on the squad.
