IF YOU CAN MAKE THE SPLASH IN FA. ITS BEST CASE SENARIO WITHOUT BLOWING UP THE BIG 3
4trade team deal sign and trade
Cavs get Hayward
Jazz get W Chandler plus something like a pick (lets say one or two second rounders)
Nuggets getT Thompson plus 2ndround pick/youngplayer from nets
Nets get Shumpert
Makes sense for nuggets because they get a quality center who can cover up for jokic deficiencies and nets get a good player for nothing. Nuggets can later trade plumlee and nets shumpert to other teams
With that trade cavs have saved 28 million. let's say they give hayward around 20-22 mill. If they add the MLE and Lebron gets a paycut they have around 10-12 million to spend for a quality center. Now Paul Millsap would be a reach but I believe Serge Freaking IBAKA would sign with the cavs. Alternative options are Dedmon of spurs and Amir Johnson Taj Gibson and Andrew Bogut.
Then use bird rights to resign Korver . Resign Frye. Offer minimums to NENE (he is a ring chaser and took a minimum to play for houston) Speights (knows warriors philosophy) beno udrih/jose calderon
Depht Chart
PG Irving/Udrih/D Will
SG (Hayward)/Korver/JR Smirh
SF LeBron/ (Hayward)/Jefferson
PF Love/ Frye
C Ibaka(or any of the other mentioned)/Speights/Nene

Why does Utah, Brooklyn, or Denver do this?
2.) 14 Jun 2017 17:27:48
Get your head down and read why it makes sense. Why doesn't it?
3.) 14 Jun 2017 17:28:11
Why doesn't it make sense I mean.
4.) 14 Jun 2017 18:11:35
None of those teams outside of Cleveland would even consider it, especially Utah.
5.) 14 Jun 2017 18:24:22
Hayward is not going to sign a contract for 20-22 million especially on a S&T.

NY pelicans nuggets deal
Knicks get ty Lawson
Pelicans get Wilson Chandler
Nuggets get Knicks 4th pick early Larkin and 2 2nd picks
Why this makes sense
Knicks sign Monroe 15 mil Afflalo 6 biyombo 4 Elton brand 3 koufos mle
Go over cap for one year deal to sign bargnani shved Aldrich acy
Sign thanasis antetokumpo and vet wing with min
Lawson/Galloway/shved
Afflalo/Hardaway/vet
Anthony/antetokumpo/acy
Biyombo/brand/bargnani
Monroe/koufos/Aldrich
Pelicans get sf starter
Tyreke sixth man of the year
Nuggets draft mudiay/Winslow and Johnson/hezonja/porzingris big three with nurkic start tankin get new high pick next year and create a solid future core. Get two promising role players. Calderón s helps them tank and his salary will expire when they have finished their rebuild
1.) 22 May 2015 15:25:44
Please guys explain your disagreements so that we can debate this
2.) 22 May 2015 15:44:46
Pels do not have the space
3.) 22 May 2015 16:01:16
The 4th pick in the draft is worth more than Ty Lawson. Plus the Knicks throw in Cleanthy Early?
Besides, I think Lawson wants to be in Dallas.
4.) 22 May 2015 16:10:42
I don't see NOLA getting W Chandler for 2 2nds? Is that what they're trading away because you don't say.
Leave NOLA out of it. I don't think Lawson warrants the #4 pick, unless NYK get both Chandler & Lawson.
5.) 22 May 2015 23:43:41
Knicks also throw on Larkin. And then somehow get afflalo for 6 mill? Every part of it everyone disagrees with. There is no need to debate. It doesn't make sense as a whole.
6.) 23 May 2015 00:19:46
Ty is not worth the 4th ovr pick

Managing bad contracts
Philly Boston 76ers
Philly gets Boston and Indiana 2nd and gerald Wallace
Get veteran support and second rounders that they love. They have tons of cap space no problem for them
Indiana gets Brandon bass s&t
Indy want to play some small ball and a combination of West and bass with George at four is adequate. Plus they save 7 mil to boost bench
Celtics get Roy Hibbert
They get rid of Wallace contract and add a starter who offers much needed rim protection. If they get a center via trade they can include Hibbert in the deal
1.) 05 May 2015 14:21:35
Sixers will want a first to take on a bad contract. We have too many 2nd rounders as it is.
2.) 05 May 2015 15:10:18
Tre is correct. They took on McGee and his $12m for next year and got a protected 1st rounder from OKC. Wallace is at $10mil for next year so they'll want another protected 1st rounder for that.
Sixers I think will be less willing to take these contracts. Last year they took them because they were not at the cap floor. That won't be an issue moving forward. So it becomes more painful to take on other team's mistakes.
3.) 05 May 2015 23:01:45
Boston has already said the would trade Wallace for a 1st rd pick. Boston should have interest in bringing back Bass as he is very dependable. As Far as Hibbert, he's nothing but a big body, and for 15.5 mil next year I think Boston can do much better for the same amount of $$ elsewhere.

I propose a Ty Lawson trade because he might want out of the nuggets
TRADE
Sac trades Darren Collison nick stauskas 2016 1st
Nuggets trade ty lawson earl clark s&t
George Karl would love lawson back to his team
Lawson would form a great duo with cousins and pair with mclemore and gay
Kings sign bismark biyombo and gay neal
draft best available
ROSTER
Lawson/Mc Callum/Stockton
Mclemore/Clark/Neal
Gay/Caspi/Dwilliams
Biyombo/Landry/Thompson
Cousins/Bhullar
Nuggets do this for stauskas and the pick because they want to rebuild and move forward plus with collison they have a temporary starting point guard
1.) 01 May 2015 14:29:48
Cool trade only part bad for me is Biyombo. I like this guy yet he is not what the Kings need. They need a 4 who can help D.C. and also stretch the floor a little but And Biyombo has a limited offense.
2.) 01 May 2015 15:07:38
That's too much for Lawson.
3.) 01 May 2015 15:48:55
Yes Jacob I agree that biyombo might not be the best fit but he is a good rim protector that can complement cousins improving but not elite defense . If the offense needs spacing you move gay to the four and sub in Clark

Reggie jackson and knicks are a bad fit . Triangle offense needs good shooters on guard positions . Plus he will be really expensive for knicks
