I've really soured on Gordon. Is he much better than Collins? He's a better offensive player, but defensively not.
It's reported that Portland wouldn't considering moving Simons unless they're getting a star back. That's not Gordon. Maybe Bazemore and a protected first.

Midseason, Detroit realises its salary is too high for where the team can go and dumps Griffin for salary relief and a couple young assets. Portland fully commits to the dame cj era and has no cap space forever, but by adding Griffin puts the blazers in serious contention as the front runner for the next few years.

100% agree with usa. Harkless and Turner are expiring deals, Wiggins contract is an albatross. Why would Portland do this?

Miami is better now because they added an all NBA level player and Portland is worse because 3 of their starting 5 are hurt and have had 10 new guys on the team. Whiteside has actually been a solid center all season. I know this trade is unlikely but on paper would improve both teams.
