There's a rumor going around that Houston is interested in Rudy Gay. but can't find an even trade that contracts work out between the teams. So add a team like the Sixers into the mix who can add some developmental prospects and cap kill

PHI-SAC-HOU

Sixers
Send: Luwawu, Stauskus, Landry, Holmes
Receives: Ariza, McLemore

-Stauskus, Landry, and Holmes are all in danger of being cut from the Sixers so they should have no trouble trading them. Luwawu they just drafted 24th but the combo of Ariza for two years and the possible emergence for McLemore from a change of scenery is worth the sell

Rockets
Send: Ariza, Brewer, Top 20 protected 1st round pick
Receive: Rudy Gay, Stauskus, WCS

-Stauskus is a younger option than Brewer and are similarly bad in my opinion. WCS is a decent prospect and Houston needs a big who can rebound and defend.

Kings
Send: WCS, Gay, McLemore
Receive: Luwawu, Top 20 protected 1st round pick, Landry, Brewer, Holmes

-This seems like the lopsided part of the trade but that's the Kings for you. They have already viciously expressed how they no longer care for Gay or McLemore (who they just said they have no intention of resigning) . Also they have 4 centers now w Boogie, WCS, Pappa, and Skal so swapping one w Holmes who can run more and play the PF could be logical for their POV. The potential of Luwawu + a protected first round pick could be enough.

Kings say no way. Take out WCS.

2.) 16 Aug 2016 01:32:24
Rockets get too much, Kings will want more

Real bad for SAC

PHI-CHA-DEN

76ers
send:Noel, Covington
receive: Gallinari, Gary Harris

Hornets
sends: MKG, Kaminsky
receive: Noel, Covington

Nuggets
send:Gallinari, Harris
receive: MKG, Kaminsky.

1.) 09 Aug 2016 19:17:22
The trade is predicated on the Hornets agreeing to that package. Which they wont. They would just make the trade directly with the nuggets. Sixers are getting too much.

2.) 10 Aug 2016 00:03:15
76ers get to much and Denver needs noel not more wings.

3.) 10 Aug 2016 20:44:56
Hornets desperately need a center and Noel would work perfectly w Kemba. Denver doesn't need another center with Jokic and Nurkic, but could use a young defensive 3 rather than have 3 young SG's. Kaminsky gives them a stretch 4.

Wizards - Hawks
(If Hawks admit to not being a championship caliber team)

Wizards send: Morris, Otto Porter/ Oubre Jr, 1st Round Pick
Hawks send: Paul Milsap.

That's a little bit overpay for an expiring contract. Maybe Morris and Porter?

Phi - Bos - Brk

76ers
Send: Jahlil Okafor, 2nd Rounder
Receive: Jarrett Jack, Jaylen Brown

Boston
Send: Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, 2018 1st Round Pick (Still retain rights to Brk 2018 1st Round Pick)
Receive: Brook Lopez

Brk
Send: Jarrett Jack, Brook Lopez
Receive: Jahlil, Marcus Smart, 2018 Bos 1st Rounder, Phi 2nd Rounder

Reasons:
Phi - Need to get rid of a big, need a pg, can stockpile talent
Bos - Looking for an elite big man to help them win now, was already ok with trading 3rd pick (Brown) for an elite player on draft night, have enough future 1st round picks
Brk - Need to rebuild and would be hard to say no to that young talent + draft picks.

1.) 30 Jun 2016 16:14:39
Philly looking for a guard to trade a big. brown doesn't fit the bill.

2.) 30 Jun 2016 17:09:04
Celtics had their chance and the gm blew the draft. Enjoy mediocrity for the next five years. That gm should be fired. Terrible job draft day.

3.) 30 Jun 2016 17:25:35
I wouldn't say he needs to be fired. I expected him to fail draft day. He has done so basically every year he has been at the helm. His only good draft day was back in 07 when he traded for Ray Allen. There are countless drafts where he traded the pick for nothing (traded the pick that netted the Blazers Roy for Telfair and Ratliff) . He does a good job at trades outside of draft night. He still has some assets left and I know that they aren't the greatest but he still has a lot to work with. He has done a lot with what he has and I expect them to finally get a big free agent and I think this team will be in the Eastern Conference Finals next season.

4.) 30 Jun 2016 19:43:05
Larry. The problem is people know he's a con artist now. He rips people off and no one wants to deal with him anymore. Ainge should be out by next season. Unless they sign Durant!

5.) 01 Jul 2016 04:05:24
I can't see them getting a big free agent this year. Too many other better options with money now that the cap has gone up.

Phi - Bos - Brk

76ers
Send: Okafor, 2nd Round pick
Receive: Jarrett Jack, Jaylen Brown

Celtics
Send: Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart
Receive: Brook Lopez

Nets
Send: Brook Lopez, Jarret Jack
Receive: Jahlil Okafor, Marcus Smart, 2nd Round pick

Reasons for trade:
Phi - Needs to unload big, needs a PG, can stockpile prospect.
Celtics - Want a difference maker big man, has room to unload guards, in a win now mode and wanted to trade that 3rd pick for an established player at the draft
Nets - Need to rebuild, want to trade Jack.

DarioAndLuigi

1.) 30 Jun 2016 17:10:06
Boston blew that deal already.

2.) 01 Jul 2016 21:58:11
Lopez overrated. hate this deal.

Dal - Phi - Mem

Phi
Sends: Jahlil Okafor, Nik Stauskus
Receives: Wade Baldwin IV, Mavericks 2017 1st Round pick (unprotected), 2018 Mavericks Pick Swag

Dallas:
Sends: Wesley Matthews, 2017 1st round pick, 2018 pick swag with 76ers
Receives: Jahlil Okafor, Nik Stauskus, 2nd Round Mem pick

Mem
Sends: Wade Baldwin IV, 2nd Round pick
Receives: Wesley Matthews

Why?
Sixers need to clear the logjam in the middle and need a PG of the future.
Memphis - Has a solid starting lineup other than at shooting guard. Now that they resigned Conley, not as much need for Baldwin
Dallas - Continuously missing out on centers in free agency, Okafor could be a good pair with Barnes.

Phi - Dallas

Phi
Sends: Jahlil Okafor, Carl Landry
Receives: Wesley Matthews, 2017 First Round Pick, 2018 First Round Pick Swap Rights

This might not seem like great value for Okafor, but Philly really needs to move a big, and it appears that they would rather trade Jah than Noel. Not many teams have a glaring weakness at the center position, and even less teams want a ball dominate center. After missing out on DeAndre Jordan last year and Whiteside this year, Dallas really could be in the market for a center.

Wesley Matthews is a really good shooter, and would be a sure starter at the 2 guard for the Sixers for the next 3 years. Dallas has the potential to be really, really bad this year, and an unprotected 1st round pick plus a pick swap in 2018 could give the Sixers the final assets they need when they make a play for trading for a superstar a year or two down the road.

As a Philly fan, I really wish we could get more for Jahlil, but based on the perceived market value and the fact that his value will probably drop once the season starts, I'd be ok with this trade.

I like this trade

The Dallas pick could be good.
But if i was philly, i would keep okafor, i think he can become an all star. So they better trade Noel.

2.) 07 Jul 2016 15:29:11
I don't think that Dallas will be really really bad this year. They have a great coach and are brining in 2 players that are coming off major roles with the Warriors. I think they could be fighting for seeds 5-7.

I think Denver says yes to this. Harris is their backup SG and they also just drafted Murray and Malik Beasley. Randle is a young PF w a lot of upside and since DEN is rebuilding that's the type of player they want.

Mudiay
Murray/ Beasley
Gallinari/ Chandler
Randle
Jokic/ Nursic

4 of their 5 staters are very young with lots of potential. Trade sounds like would work for me.

Are you really proposing that Derrick Rose goes back to the Bulls right after they traded him? What?

I don't think Lakers give up Russell and Randle (2 of their 3 really good prospects) for Love. Maybe they would do it if it was Clarkson instead, but then things would have to change to give PHI more. Also still don't see Cavs trading Love for young players.

Pels say no. Anthony Davis still young and still a stud. KAT is going to be amazing but that's still right around healthy AD level.
