Here's why : Raptors need a better starting pf and toughness especially in the playoffs. Bulls have a surplus of bigs especially with bobby portis.

Bulls-Wolves trade
Bulls get:

Wolves get:
Taj Gibson
Here's why : Wolves aren't contending soon so martin is better off to a contender. Gibson fits better with towns than pekovic. Bulls need shooting and Martin gives them that. With this trade, re-signing Butler and a healthy Rose, I think they're favorites in the east.

Wolves don't need another PF, if they do trade Martin, they would want a 1st. Also Gibson is already 30, he wouldn't really be there when the Wolves contend.
And the Wolves aren't really in any position to facilitate traded being over the Cao as they are

Nuggets move up and grab potential star. Sixers gain a backcourt. Ty Lawson's value is not high around the league IMHO.

Lawson is too small to trade such a high asset for him mostly. Sixers pass on Lawson who's career will be over in two or three years max. We know small players. Iverson was less then six foot. Once he lost a little step he was just not the same player on offense and defensively he's a liability due to hieght problems.
My advice to the nuggets is trade him as fast as possible.

Warriors avoid luxury tax. Sixers get their potential star in barnes.

Covington and the OKC pick for barnes and lee. that would be a great trade for philly. Barnes is only 23, has experienced being an NBA champion, and is just coming into his prime. Would immediately be the starting SF on a young and developing team. Lee's salary is huge, but only for this year. Plus, lee can still contribute and brings that winning attitude. One problem, NO WAY does golden state trade barnes in a deal like this.

Barnes was one of the more consistent player in the playoffs and for most of the finals also. Sure he averages like 10 points per game but that doesn't matter to him as long as there still winning he's happy

First off, Barnes could go for near max money, maybe 15 million per. Draymond green will almost certainly sign for the max. David Lee's contract puts warriors way up in the salary tax so shedding lee's contract will actually save warriors 31 million. Covington is a good shooter and could offset barnes' loss, maybe even start for them. Along with covington, how about both the heat and the thunder pick go to them. Would warriors consider it?
For the sixers, Barnes is really good and a POTENTIAL star.
