76'ers-Celtics trade

There have been rumors that the 76'ers want the 3rd pick in the 2016 draft to go along with the 1st pick.

A potential trade that could go down would be:

76'ers get: Round 1 pick 3 (from Celtics)
Celtics get: Jahlil Okafor

It is said that the 76'ers want to pick Kris Dunn if they would get the 3rd pick.

That trade rumor sounds vaguely familiar.

If this is what it takes from both teams it would have happened

Agreed, I would see the C's wanting another asset, especially when it looks like the Sixers are extremely hungry to land Dunn.

Celtics will not trade # 3 for Okafor. Dude does not have that big an upside. They will likely go for butler or try for cousins. Okafor, Noel or love with that # 3 pick are the dumbest decisions they make with that pick.

I think Boston should just keep thier pick and draft another guard or brown to come off thier bench. They could use some more bench players.

I think zeller, Johnson and olynyk will do just fine as thier big guys. They could compete for the east with those big guys, easy.

Milwaukee Buck-Portland Trail Blazers trade

The Bucks have made it clear that they want to trade Greg Monroe this offseason

I believe an excellent fit for him would be in Portland. I believe this because after being traded from Detroit he has had a few down years with the Bucks. I Believe he would be a big presence that the trail blazers are missing. With an all star point guard in Lillard, Monroe could really benefit from Lillards drive and kick opportunitys which would create some open shots and dunks for Monroe. This would also benefit the trail blazers because with having Monroe they have a big man to get the offense 2nd opportunitys.

A potential trade that could go down could be:

Portland receives: Greg Monroe
Milwaukee receives: Mason Plumlee and Portlands next year 1st round pick.

I agree with your sentiment Monroe would provide an interior component to Trail Blazers offense and could have an Aldridge-esque role. For the record though he only played one season for Bucks and signed there as a free agent. Although a good bet for a double double he is weak defensively and Plumlee showed out in this years playoffs so I wouldn't be surprised if Portland didn't take this trade. I think maybe a deal centered around Henderson, Leonard and a future draft pick may work.

Cavs-Lakers Trade

It's no secret that the lakers like Kevin Love.

A possible trade that could happen is:

Cavs give up: Kevin Love to the lakers
Lakers give up: 2nd pick to the Cavs

The Cavs would draft Brandon Ingram (assuming that the 76'ers pick Ben Simmons) and the Cavs start him at SF

Cavs Starting lineup would look like:

PG: Kyrie
SG: JR
SF: Ingram
PF: LeBron
C: Thompson

The lakers have said that they are interested in trading D'angleo Russell. So the lakers could trade D'angleo to someone in the top 5 and pick someone in the top 5 to go along with Jordan Clarkson, Kevin Love, and Julius Randle.

Kevin loves value has dropped so he won't get you the 2nd pick

2.) 21 Jun 2016 03:08:13
Love stock has dropped, but the Lakers may feel like they need to add a borderline star with LA roots to help sell the fans and other FA's on the Lakers.

The truth is Love will be more effective next year than Ingram will be.

3.) 21 Jun 2016 04:03:06
Why would the Cavs want a rookie starter after winning a championship.?

4.) 21 Jun 2016 04:15:26
Kevin Love and Randle would make a crappy defensive frontcourt not to mention Love's value has dropped off significantly. I don't think it would be necessarily a steal since I'm a believer in Love and think he has the ability to be worth the #2 pick but its an awful fit for the Lakers and his stock is low so it would be a foolish deal for the Lakers.

This would be a near dream scenario for the Cavs as they get a near Wiggins-caliber talent whose shooting ability should make him able to contribute from day 1 and only improve with time as he figures out how to use that long body of his.
