Not terrible, I think switching Jr to Shumpert makes sense for the Suns though. He's younger and his contract is up (player option) at the end of this year. While Jr is still a solid player, he's to old to fit the Suns and his contract has a few years left on it. I don't think they would be willing to take on Noah's terrible contract and Jr's slightly bad contract.

2.) 03 Aug 2017 18:02:27
Irvings value isn't at that. His refusal to commit past 2 years while already making clear he ideally wants to be a knick makes teams like the Suns hesitant to give anything much more than bledsoe and perhaps a pick. Absolutely not also bender and melo. Just is way too much.

3.) 03 Aug 2017 18:58:00
Hamburger, they're just as likely to lose Bledsoe in two years as Kyrie, Bender was underwhelming last year, and I think the pick would most likely be Miami's which won't be a lottery pick since the East is such a cake walk.

The sticking point would be taking on Noah's and Jr's contracts, but if you switch it to shumps next year they'll save a little money with Dudley and Chandler (2 players without much value) it's only like adding a year to their contracts.

I'm not sure how the Knicks would feel about this, but 3 veterans who can still be in the rotation and are all good locker room guys might be worth it to try and change the toxic culture around the Knicks (as much as possible with Dolan still being the man in charge) .

4.) 03 Aug 2017 21:07:24
Right. You do realize all reports and analysts say the value is just not what you are claiming. He listed teams he wants. He refuses to sign long term. Suns aren't a team he ants or will sign long term. Bledsoe and Irving both will be gone in 2 years. Even though they ca. Absolutely snag assets for Bledsoe.

So why again are the Suns going to give up a 1st, last years 4th who has solid potential, take on contracts. all to do nothing over the next two years?

It's not a match in the least unless it's essentially Bledsoe and Miami pick for Irving, or Irving signs long term. Is what it is. Irving ain't got that kind of value. Not at this point.

Okc - Cle - Ind 3 team trade

Okc gets:
PF Kevin Love
SG Monta Ellis

Cle gets:
SF Paul George
PG Aaron Brooks

Ind gets:
SG Victor Oladipo
PF D. Sabonis
C Ends Manger
OKC pick #17 in 2017 draft

Okc gets another superstar to go with Westbrook, reunites UCLA teammates, and gets a shooter

Cleveland gets George for one year, possibly 2 if LeBron can convince him and a backup PG

Indiana gets Oladipo to come back home, a first Rd pick, a solid PF who starts immediately and could be there for 10 years, while eating Kanter's contract.

If the Warriors win in 4 or 5 games Cleveland/NYK trade:

Cleveland gets:
SF Carmelo Anthony

NYK gets:
C Tristan Thompson
SF Channing Frye

Cleveland will embrace small ball full time and try to outscore Golden State for the next 2 years with this lineup

PG: Irving/D. Williams
SG: Shumpert/JR Smith
SF: Anthony/Korver
PF: James/Derrick Williams
C: Love/Bogut (league minimum)

NYK:

PG: Dennis Smith Jr.(draft) or trade for Rubio
SG: Lee
SF: Frye
PF: Porzingis
C: Thompson

Knicks let Rose walk, add two starters, shed Carmelo contract, put 5 NBA players on the court for the first time in years

since when did channing frye become a SF?

2.) 07 Jun 2017 09:14:59
Carmelo is 6'8", Frye is 6'10". Both are soft, no defense playing forwards that shoot the 3. What, do you think Frye is some bruising 4? Lol.

3.) 07 Jun 2017 11:04:50
That would be the Trade of the Year if the Knicks could pull it off. Cavs would need a lot more than that to give up Thompson.

4.) 07 Jun 2017 13:19:25
Johnny I thought Frye was a SG. I think Knicks will hold until something with wolves and blazers happens. Unless supercollider predictions come true Melo for thomas 😁.

5.) 07 Jun 2017 15:08:07
I think the C's would have to throw in something more with IT to get Melo.

I don't see the Cavs moving Thompson without at least getting a backup big back in a deal. Add in O'Quinn from the Knicks end, and some salary fillers from Cleveland's end.

3 team trade

Min/NYK/Por

C Ezeli
Number 8 pick from NYK

NY gets:
PG Rubio
C Leonard
Number 20 pick from Portland

Por gets:

Minnesota lineup
PG Rose/Dunn
SG Crabbe/Monk #7 pick
SF Wiggins/Muhammad
PF Deng/Isaac #8 pick
C Towns/Ezeli

Minnesota trades 2 starters for a bench player with a terrible contract and the 8th pick, when they already have the 7th pick. This will set Minnesota back several years.

Minnesota's offseason plan should be Isaac at 7 and spending some money to get wing defense. They will have the cap space to either get one max guy or 2 good role players.

2.) 04 Jun 2017 00:23:39
Don't like that Twolves are giving up LaVine and that Portland is taking on Noah's contract which is easily worse than any of the "bad" contracts they have since Noah's level of play has dropped off to the point he is hardly a rotational player.

3.) 04 Jun 2017 13:17:37
Portland's trying to shed salary, why in the world would they take Noah's deal back.

Ezeli's already been let go.

3 team trade

Klay Thompson to Boston

Number 1 pick to Sacramento

Numbers 5 and 10 to Golden State

Move role players from each team to make the financials work.

Hayward signs with Boston
Tony Allen signs with Golden State

Boston Lineup

PG Thomas/Rozier
SG Thompson/Bradley
SF Hayward/Brown
PF Horford/Jerebko
C Olynyk/Zeller

Boston trades off Smart and Amir Johnson as salary dumps

Golden State Lineup

PG Curry/Livingston
SG T.Allen/#10 D.Mithcell
SF Durant/Iguodala
PF D.Green/#5 pick J.Isaac
C Pachulia/McGee

Sacramento Lineup

Who cares?

JohnnyMac74

1.) 02 Jun 2017 10:10:14
Danny will never trade the 1st Pick for Klay Thompson. He is simply not worth that.

2.) 02 Jun 2017 13:07:06
Not enough for Klay.

3.) 02 Jun 2017 13:33:14
Klay is an all star. We never saw Fultz play any game in the NBA. He could even be a bust (really low chance but possible) . I would even add the 2018 Brooklyn pick if necessary.

4.) 02 Jun 2017 14:02:11
I don't understand why Sacramento is in this. If GS decided to move Thompson (they won't though), they'd rather take the #1 pick over 5 and 10.

5.) 02 Jun 2017 17:22:02
The funniest part is, you wanting the Celtics to trade Smart as a "salary dump" lol.

Worst trade I have seen on here in a year. I take it you are from Toronto? Give up Wiggins for Batum? Insane.
