Celtics: Tyreke Evans

Grizzlies: Jamal Crawford, 2018 OKC 1st, and 2018 Celtics 1st.

Timberwolves: Marcus Smart, and 2019 Piston's 2nd.

Basically the T-Wolves need a guard who's better defensively than Crawford off the bench and Smart is actually outscoring Crawford making his expendable to the Wolves. They give up OKC's first which they acquired from Utah for Rubio and get and a 2nd back from the Celtics because I do't believe Smart is worth a 1st.

The Grizzlies get probably the best package they can for Tyreke, getting two firsts and a cheap contract they can trade either this year or next.

Celtics get the scoring 6th man they've needed and with this move almost ensure that they make the finals over the Cavs.

c’s could prob get tyreke for just that 1st, why would they give up smart too for the same return.

DET: Reggie Jackson, Eric Moreland, and 2020 1st round pick (top 12 protected, unprotected in 2021).

ORL: Evan Fournier, Elfrid Payton, 2021 and 2023 2nd round picks.

After acquiring Griffin from the Clippers and giving up Tobias Harris and Avery Bradley the Pistons are going to need another scorer for the team especially with Reggie Jackson injured. Fournier is a lot like Harris in which he play on and off ball, a great shooter and if he's your 2nd or 3rd best scorer then that's fine. Payton replaces Jackson and probably fits in better because he's a pass first player and can create Lob City 2.

Rubbish for Orlando.

Cleveland Cavaliers moves:

CLE: Cedi Osman, Ante Zizic, Jose Calderon, 2020 Heat 2nd round pick, and 2022 2nd round pick

ATL: Dewayne Dedmond, and 2022 2nd round pick.

Hawks get some younger guys in Osman and Zizic and 2 2nds, giving up 1 to get both and the Cavs get a good backup centre who catches lobs and plays good interior defence (which they need desperately)

CLE: Iman Shumpert, Channing Frye, 2021 2nd round pick and Hawks 2022 2nd round pick.

SAC: George Hill

This one is something that is close to happening Cavs need a defensive orientated PG and have Isaiah coming off the bench. Hill will help Kevin Love as well because he doesn't command that many touches.

CLE: Derrick Favours
CHI: Tristan Thompson and Cavs 2018 1st round pick.
UTA: Nikola Mirotic

Read this somewhere and it makes complete sense Favours is worth a late first plus you get rid of Thompson and his awful contract, gives the Cavs the interior defence and can be either the starting C or PF depending on Love.
Utah has been big on getting Nikola.
Chicago continues to help their rebuilding process.

Cleveland's new roster:
PG; Hill, Thomas, Rose
SG: Smith, Wade, Korver
SF: James, Green
PF; Favours, Crowder
C; Love, Dedmond.

MEM: Marc Gasol, Tyreke Evans and 2019 2nd round pick.

TOR; Jonas Valanciunas, Lucas Nogueira, Norman Powell, Pascal Siakim, 2019 1st round pick, 2021 1st round pick, and 2020 2nd round pick.

The Raptors need somebody who can be that 3rd scorer for their team as well as a great scorer off that bench and Gasol (3rd scorer) and Evans (6th man) can be that for this team. This can put either Gasol or Ibaka at the starting C role and they're both terrific defenders, not as amazing as they once were but still great none the less.

Memphis needs to start their rebuild and both Gasol and Evans warrant first round picks, they take on Jonas' contract to make salaries work but they also get two young guys in Siakim and Powell who aren't getting as much play time in Toronto as they would in Memphis.

I actually like this trade.

Toronto is a great destination for Toronto, this could bring them to the finals.

And it's a good return for Memphis.

3.) 27 Jan 2018 22:13:55
I am guessing that isn't a typo. Gasupo! Ha!

Memphis getting too much. Evans is expiring.

5.) 30 Jan 2018 19:52:57
good trade but I don't think they need to give that many draft picks maybe just a first and second.

ORL: Ian Mahinmi, Tim Frazier, 2018 1st round pick 2018 and 2023 2nd round picks.

WSH: Nikola Vucevic and D. J. Augustin

It's a fire sale in Orlando and the Wizards still need better bench scoring and need to get outta that Mahinmi contract. Augustin is one of the best backup PGs in the league and Vooch makes Washington's frontcourt very deep w Gortat, Morris and Oubre all there.

Magic get a 1st round pick and two 2nds to help w this rebuild.

Wizards have to give up more to dump mahinmi's contract.

No from Dallas, I'd rather have Harrison Barnes.

I think Denver should go after Kemba or Schroeder, somebody with term. Evans should go to a real title contender, not a team that's just tryna make the playoffs. If the Nuggets are really into Evans they should just wait till free agency.

Spurs lose horribly in this and Cavs make out like bandits.
