I figure i'd make my top 5 most improved teams now that most big name players are off the market
1. Nets, they added some nice young pieces i think they might been in the playoff race late
2. Knicks, they really improved if everyone can stay healthy they can be the 5 or 6 seed
3. Pacers, i like the additions of Young and Teague, though Jefferson is sorta a question mark for me i can see them going from a 7 seed to a 2 or 3 seed
4. Celtics, they have their "big 3" let's see what they can do not sure how much better Horford makes them but we'll see
5. Suns, i like what they did in the draft they're solid in the front court now i like how they didn't fall into the whole spend a lot of money like most teams they won't be good but they will be 7-10 games better than last year.

Don't really see Celtics "Big 3" but I agree with the teams. Pistons and 76ers have improved with filling need.

2.) 09 Jul 2016 22:34:41
I kinda can see it, though it depends on how well they play together. And yeah the Pistons and 6ers did really improve let's not forget that the Jazz improved, Portland got better with Ezeli and Turner, Pelicans if they can stay healthy, though many would disagree Bulls did too imo.

I just want to say i'm not salty or anything like that
KD to the Warriors is the worse thing not only for the NBA but for the Warriors they were already the best in the league, now you add KD who will probably mess up the chemistry the team has had for the past several seasons then on top of that they lose 3 key parts of their 2 finals runs. No matter how great KD is 1 person won't make up for 3. Remember back in like 2011 or 2012 when the Lakers traded for CP3 then the league vetoed it because it wouldn't be fair to the league? This is even less fair it takes away from the fun of the game! The rising salary cap is a horrible thing because yeah smaller market teams will have more money but that means the big market teams will too. If a team like the bucks slightly offered more for someone then Warriors did guess what, that player would still sign with the warriors why? Because the salary cap allows great teams to become greater IMO when you have teams that don't care about the tax like the Cavs and Warriors its cheating.

Just wait and watch all the vets chasing rings take less money to sign with the Warriors. The Warriors will have the best starting line up and will get deep as well.

2.) 05 Jul 2016 07:14:32
Curry
Thompson
Durant
Green
Zaza
Iggy
Livingston
This warriors last chance to win. Iggy and Livingston gone next year. They won ring but maybe two now they get money. But not from warriors paying durant and curry max contracts next year. If things work and Durant stays. But hard to leave that core for durant after one year even if lose in finals or not make finals.

3.) 05 Jul 2016 07:42:24
Adding a player like Durant doesn't make you worse. He isn't a loud, cocky guy that wants all the praise and publicity or any sort of diva. His style of play matches the Warriors and him just being on the court will free up shots for the other guys. He is top scorer in the league and a competent defender which he'll only be better at since he'll have less of an offensive burden and can expend more energy on that end. Warriors needed a tweak after they shouldn't have even made it back to the finals. They looked quite mortal in the playoffs altogether and needed an addition. They won the prize of FA.

It isn't "unfair" or "cheating" they haven't broken any rules and Cleveland which is on lower half of the market size paid 54 million in luxury taxes for exceeding the cap. At the end of the day the NBA is a business so in that sense large markets inherently have a advantage but its a lot less influential than it was in the past and big market teams can be awful (Look at Knicks past few years, Brooklyn, and Lakers) and small market teams like San Antonio can create a dynasty. Warriors aren't even over the tax line yet.

I don't think this move is bad for either the NBA or especially the Warriors. Look at how high ticket prices are for Warriors games now and TV viewership will increase. The NBA will be making mega-bucks after this trade. The salary-cap spikes will create an interesting new dynamic (and maybe NBA and NBAPA should've handled it differently) that makes it easier to construct super teams but it'll only be this next two years and then salary cap will actually decline a little bit.

4.) 05 Jul 2016 13:55:04
This move is terrible for the NBA. In order to draw viewers there has to be some intrigue to the games. This move assures no one will else will honestly have a chance. It also reinforces a ton of bad stereotypes. There's only a couple teams that could win, the players just wanna create super teams etc.
I for one will refuse to watch any warriors games or buy any apparel for the simple fact that they now symbolize doing things the easy way. And I honestly hope that the rings they win are in the shape of one big asterisk. Cause they couldn't do it on their.
Call it hatin' I don't care. This isn't how champions act.

5.) 05 Jul 2016 15:04:50
It's going to be hard watching the Warriors play now that they might lose like 5 games. I get there games for free so when other games aren't I force myself to watch them. And I'm not buying KD apparel anymore either.

6.) 05 Jul 2016 21:35:57
Im with you THEKING and Darkwing, though boycotting/ not buying any Warriors stuff won't do anything because odds are a lot of fans will leave their team for the Warriors. i'm a lakers fan and i didn't hate the Warriors before this because most the players they had they drafted them, but now they got KD i hate them, and really dislike KD i have no respect for either, they are the Yankees of the NBA. Real champions win them not buy them.

Am i the only one who thinks the magic will be dark horses this summer? I could see them get Conley, or bazemore, or Barnes, or Biyombo, Ryan Anderson any combination of those guys.

My guess. the magic are dark horses for signing biyomno, because he smells like a bust of a contract.

2.) 29 Jun 2016 00:56:12
I think orlando will go with a SF. Maybe parsons.

3.) 29 Jun 2016 18:26:36
Conley and parsons.

Clippers only trade griffin to the celtics if they get Crowder, Smart, Brooklyns 2017 and 2018 first round picks.

Boston has the right to swap their 2017 1st round with Brooklyn's which will more than likely happen.

NBA16 i was literally about to post the same exact trade, if i'm the bulls i only take it if i get minnesotas first next year as well. Just imagine Lavine the greatest dunker in the league right now playing for the same team as one of the greatest dunkers of all time!

Wasnt one of the reasons KD didn't want to go to Boston was the fans were too vocal or something like that? So he chose to go a route where every place he plays except at GS hell get booed out of the building? KD is 1000% times worse than Lebron. Gasupo your comment is so wrong for starters KD won't win 5 or 6 rings in 10 years. And in 20 years people aren't going to be saying he's better than MJ they're going to say he went from MVP to Currys bitch sidekick. KD won't be a top 10 player all time when all is said and done. If the Warriors don't win a title what happens? What if the Thunder beat them in the playoffs and win the finals?
