The Lakers are a joke, but that's no different than an other team LeBron has been on. He wants to be the coach, and rarely cares what anyone on the sideline wearing a suit has to say. They all allow him to dictate decisions, even Riley to an extent. Spoelstra turned out to be a good choice, but you really only saw that after James went back to Cleveland.

That said, I'm really hoping that Walton gets those kids in Sacramento playing even better than this year. I would love to see that become a rivalry again and get a playoff matchup.

Not sure why everyone is trying to trade Gordon Hayward for next to nothing?
It sounds like no one has watched him play recently. The last couple of months, he's been dominant at times. He was awesome last night vs the pacers.
I will tell that the Celtics will not trade him, unless they absolutely have to.
You guys will mention money, and that he is not worth it, but many of you are trying to trade him to your favorite team. If he's so bad, why would you want to get stuck with him and his contract.
I'll tell you why, you know how good he is and hope to get him 9n the cheap.
No way this trade ever happens.

I do think Haywardâ€™s best days are over, but a terrible deal like this one is not worth moving him in. Better off holding on to him to see if he can bounce back next year. If he still struggles, the deals to move him canâ€™t get much worse than this anyway, and heâ€™ll be another season through his contract.

As for the other deals, Hornets and Pistons say no. There is no way Jordan Clarkson Nets you a first.

I would get rid of Hayward. Irving, Horford, Hayward, AD is 120M. I'd definitely trade Hayward if I was keeping Tatum, but I don't know how badly Brown has trashed his relationship with certain team members. I am not slighting Hayward, but he has been a sluggish player this season recovering from his injury. He's done better than George did his first season back. I'm not going to pretend that Hayward has been a good use if 31M this season though. That is an extreme payment amount for what he has produced this season.

No one says hayward is awful. But fact is he is grossly overpaid. He is a 3rd option on a good team at best. Paid like a franchise cornerstone. Doesnâ€™t add up.

I think Nurkic is back by the beginning of the season or close. He didn't tear or detach any ligaments, and tendons so his leg just needs to mend. I heard as early as 4-months if all goes well. Most think it will be a precautionary 6 months because he already fractured the other one 2 seasons ago.

Harris and Plumlee is $31 mil in salary next year which makes it tough. Perhaps a DeRozen, but definately not an All-Star level player. Plumlee seems like a Coach Pop kind of guy.
