Cavs Clippers

Cavs Trade
Pick 8
Zizic

Clippers trade (Clippers wants Porter Jr)
Pick 12 & Pick 13

Clippers select Porter Jr

Cavs select Sexton (Hopeful he's still at 12)
If Sexton is gone Bridges and Gilgeous-Alexander

both 12 and 13 in the same draft is too much to give up to move up 4 picks. if anything i would expect 12 and a future protected 1st.

Thompson seems like a nonstarter for the Spurs. Hill and Jr don't have very much guaranteed money after next year. They would probably be preferable for the Spurs. Gasol doesn't haven muxh guaranteed money after next year year either so I don't see him as a guy the Spurs would want to dump. Mills is probably the guy they would look to throw in. Even after that it feels short. The Cavs would probably need atleast another pick throw in and more than likely a decent pick from this year. Maybe they could get that with Hood, but if feels like Love would have to be involved in some way for them to have a chance at Leonard. There are a lot of risks to anyone trading for him, but he's a top 5 player when healthy.

A bunch of pennies, dimes and nickels for silver dollar pieces. Lol Not happening.

I think on draft night he get traded to cavs or Lakers. Maybe Boston.

2.) 23 Feb 2018 06:35:35
Nah, Clarkson, and the pick are a good lure, but Love, and Osman just don't quite get it there. Love doesn't strike me as a Popovich type player. He's good, just not Spurs style. Aldridge is barely. Had to work at it.

3.) 23 Feb 2018 12:18:08
Clarkson is not a lure, Osman is more so and the pick is nice. Moving Gasol out would be great, but I think Love would be a terrible fit beside LMA.

4.) 23 Feb 2018 14:23:24
I think Love could be a fantastic Popovich type of player, but I agree with Triangle, he's not a great fit next to LMA. They would really open up the offense, but would be a nightmare defensively.

5.) 23 Feb 2018 14:40:05
If you believe Osman has more value than Clarkson there is nothing more to discuss Triangle. That's your idea, and I'll stick to mine.

6.) 23 Feb 2018 18:51:52
Jorga, Osman has more value. He's on a bargain contract for the next 3 years, is a good versatile defender, constantly hustles, and has the offensive skills to develop into a good player on that end.

Clarkson is on a less than team friendly contract for multiple years, is a good offensive player but doesn't looks like he'll ever be more than a volume scoring combo guard.

Hornets Cavs

Cavs receive
Walker
Batum
Howard

Charlotte receives
Thompson
Shumpert
Frye (expiring)
Korver
Crowder
2018 Nets pick
2020 Miami second round pick

Charlotte will save 16 ml in salary (9mil now 7 with Frye expiring)

Walker is a keeper. Shoot for Lamb maybe. That's something CLE has matching talent for.

2.) 06 Feb 2018 05:56:10
Cleveland isn’t sending enough salary out are they? Walker, Batum, and Howard are over 50 million a year.

3.) 06 Feb 2018 06:25:32
Trade works. CAVS go deep into luxury though. CLE has nearly 10 mil in exceptions.

4.) 06 Feb 2018 06:29:51
@bmill correct, it’s about 58 for 48.

5.) 06 Feb 2018 06:46:15
Check the trade on trade machine. It passes.

6.) 06 Feb 2018 11:40:59
Both team should do this.
Cleveland should go all in
And Cahrlotte should start a complete rebuilt.

Cavs Clippers Bucks

Clippers receive
Thompson
Frye
Osman
Snell
Cavs first round pick
Future second from Cavs

Bucks receive
Gallinari
Zizic

Cavs receive
Henson
Jordan
Thornwell

Ritequick24

1.) 31 Jan 2018 15:06:01
So the bucks give up 2 starters, for 2 backups? HA HA HA HA! Thanks for the laugh!

2.) 31 Jan 2018 16:27:14
THE CLIPPERS DO NOT WANT THOMPSON! He is only being mentioned because of his contract matching up close to DJ's and he's a big man. He has a terrible contract and it goes against what they are trying to do.

Cleveland would have to consider this Jorga. The contract situation does create a long term issue but for this season alone. Jordan and Williams would help fix their problems on the court and after this season they would deal with the contracts when Lebron makes his decision. The main selling point in this trade though is the extra pick. Doesn’t matter which first it is. The would still have two first and most likely 2 between 15-25 range that they can either select players still on draft night or package those of another return. The extra pick though is only 5-10 slots back from the Nets pick which makes this deal hard to pass.

Isaiah is not going to get traded guys. Him and Dan Gilbert are as close as Lebron and Gilbert are so I doubt he would let him be traded after all his hard work coming back. At least not this season.

I agree that this trade will need at least the Cavs first if not more but Memphis may actually have interest now in a trade since Conley is opting for surgery.

It’s never to late for a complete roster makeover espically if the Cavs will continue to play like this. I mean they already aren’t going to win and as of now they probably wouldn’t even win the East so if they decide to move 4-6 players I would be surprise/ mad about it.
