Melo trade

Portland - New York

New York
Melo and Plumee

Portland
Crabbe and Leonard

Salaries matchup on the ESPN trade machine would be a smart trade for both teams.

If the Knicks could talk the Blazers into that deal, they would cancel next year's voting, make Phil Jackson the executive of the year and name the award after him.

I like it for Portland. It's low risk and at worst they end up with an expiring contract. I don't think Melo would be a great fit, but they really aren't making much of a commitment.

It's not great for New York, but they end up with 2 young players that can help in a rebuild.

That sounds about right coming from supercollider. Let me guess. You think crabbe does more than melo. Not based off reality, but based on your unknown source of irrational hate for him. So sad.

I like this trade, but Portland should also give a protected first round pick.

I actually like this one. It makes Portland a little more balanced instead of essentially a backcourt team, and it brings back something of value to the Knicks. Crabbe isn't amazing, but he's a good player, and that's pretty much what you have to hope for if you're the Knicks.

Knicks and up with 1 solid young player. Meyers Leonard is not a contributor.

Bucks would have to give up something else to the pacers that's no enough for pg13 my Parker or something else like bragdon. Plus they don't need millisap his 32 and if they are losing pg13 they need to rebuild. And that doesn't start by maxing out a 32 year undersized PF who is one bad injury away from he careers being over.

That's not enough for two years of butler! That trade would only happen if Brooklyns front office was making the decisions.
