Bucks-Pelicans-76ers

Bucks get top 5 protected 2017 Sixers first round pick, Solomon Hill

Pelicans get Greg Monroe, bucks 2017 2nd round pick, Rashad Vaughn

76ers get Tyreke Evans, Bucks 2017 first and Pelicans 2017 first round pick.

I still don't like this trade because philly risks losing the sac pick in a swap.

2.) 14 Aug 2016 01:51:54
Again tre, the sixers appear to be able to swap. Then they swap picks. So it doesn't affect the Kings pick. Do you have any other reason to keep yelling no? Because now just seems you are disagreeing to disagree. If their pick and the Kings is out of the top 5 they get 2 likely lottery picks. Stop complaining learn the details. It's an amazing trade and you are being stubborn.

3.) 14 Aug 2016 15:27:02
Hamburger it's not amazing if I get Evan a average player at best and two mid firsts. Makes no sense to me.

Plus I'm risking losing the swap with the Kings. If the our pick is out of the top five we lose our swap right with the Kings after this pointless trsde. So what happen is the king get the number one pick and we get the sixth pick. Then the swap doesn't happen. Our pick goes to Nola. It's stupid for us to do that deal.

4.) 14 Aug 2016 23:29:29
No you don't tre. It depends on how the trade is structured. But seeing as there is a protection, my guess is the protection would include the swap. Stop just complaining to complain. You are wrong.

5.) 15 Aug 2016 03:17:25
Tre is right. It's a non-starter.

6.) 15 Aug 2016 13:38:19
Or really boy. So if the protection on the trade is. top 5 protection for sixers pick and potential Kings swap. game over? Done deal? Doesn't count because well. it doesn't count?

Fascinating how everyone on here is a contract and sports law expert and just knows a simple one sentence protection like that is impossible. Done deal. Just game over. Non-starter. Can't. Way too complicated.

7.) 15 Aug 2016 20:11:38
Hamburger it's not that hard of a concept. Your ranting seem like you don't get it?

Sixers swap with kings if;

Kings are in lottery and after lottery results are ahead of the Sixers.

However with this trade that makes that a lot more unlikely to happen. Sixers could get out of the top five this year. If so they are screwed in more ways then one. Not only do they lose the pick. They lose the swap which could be top three easy. There's no way you risk that for Evans and mid first rounders. It's just not a smart decision for a team building completely through the draft.

So Sixers give up nothing? Because if that's the Sixers first Top five protected pick that's not happening.

2.) 12 Aug 2016 23:25:27
So why do the Bucks do this? Get a pick that's protected, for Monroe, and unprotected first, Vaughn, and a 2nd??

3.) 13 Aug 2016 12:15:33
What? Bucks give up monroe,vaugn, 2017 1st rd pick,and 2nd rd pick for a top 5 1st rd pick...are you crazy.

4.) 13 Aug 2016 13:42:30
Why are you so quick to disagree tre? Always. did you think about this at all before disagreeing?

Sixers get the bucks and Pelicans unprotected picks. Both were awful this year. No cure tee significantly better next. Especially the Pelicans.

Sixers give up a top five protected pick.

So say Pelicans get the 4th. Bucks 8th. Sixers 2nd. Sixers get more major pieces and hopefully make a significant improvement in the next year.

So only way Sixers say no is if you expect to be bottom dwellers for at least 3 more years.

Seriously, why no? Just because someone else posted it? I would love to hear the thought process for such a clear no. But let me guess. Your response is just no. Or we don't need picks. Or someother nonsense to mask the fact you just disagree with posts about the sixers with no thought as to why.

5.) 13 Aug 2016 15:35:26
Hamburger.

I disagree very quick because the trade has a huge hole in it. We have swap rights with Sacramento. If we trade our pick the swap gets messed up. Not to mention the draft is the only way the Sixers have been improving.

I do see we're getting the bucks and Pelicans first as well. that sounds great but bucks are going to be much better this year since they figured out Giannis is a pg/ point toward. They will be top fifteen next year. Pelicans interests me since they haven't gotten better this offseason but with Greg Monroe who has a per of 23 added down low with Davis that team is much better in my eyes. Probably top ten still but better.

So I mess up a swap for a two mid first picks and Evan who sucks. It's interesting and requires thought but in the end the swap with sac is more important. Can't risk that.

6.) 13 Aug 2016 18:33:33
It's top 5 protected. Do you know the rules regarding swap rights and protections? Just stop always going oh no way. It potentially is a very good trade. You just always have to say no one can mention the sixers. Only you or a few sixers fans are allowed. It gets old.

If you know the specifics of whether the protection includes the swap, do inform. Otherwise your objection is baseless.

7.) 13 Aug 2016 18:51:16
Hamburger

Of course I know the rule. Sixers swap with Sacramento if Sixers have a higher pick then them and sac is in the top 14. I see Sacramento as being a top five worst team this year so that's a huge lose if we lose the swap.

But if the Sixers are top six this year the swap gets screwed up. To give you an example the wolves had 29 wins and were the fifth seed. I'm not taking the chance of losing the swap in a point less trade for a average at best player in Evans and two none top ten picks. Those are pretty useless. Just ask Boston.

So I'd pass on this deal. i pass on a lot of deals because I don't like them. Period. I like a few because most people don't put a quality offer out there. Period. Let's not over think this.

Celtics-Bucks-Kings

Boston gets Monroe, Bucks 2017 first round pick, 2018 second round pick

Milwaukee gets Gerald Green, Nets 2017 first round pick.

Terrible for Boston. If they traded the nets pick, they'd want Parker or Middleton.

2.) 09 Aug 2016 04:23:43
Did we lose a team in this trade?

3.) 09 Aug 2016 09:03:28
Disregard the Kings. They aren't meant to be there.

Yes that's why the Bucks are paying him 12 million and give him a starting spot because they hate him.

Whe this trade was made, this probably seemed fair. It impossible to predict how players pan out.
