second trade proposal

First deal I don't think makes sense for either team. Rockets could use a athletic defensive center like Capela and Bulls could use a versatile big like Portis that has some range.

I like the second deal as Nuggets get younger, Detroit brings in some solid talent in Barton and Ariza (although should have protection on first just in case) . Rockets don't benefit quite as much but Galo is very underrated player only issue is maintaining healthy.

Bucks- Rubio - McLemore

Wolves- Parker - Brewer- Beverley

Kings- Monroe

Rockets- Gay - Dieng - Willie Cauley Stein.

I have a feeling this post will break the all-time "unbelievable" record on this site.

2.) 08 Oct 2016 20:51:44
There is certainly a lot wrong with this one. Value aside the fits don't even make sense.

3.) 08 Oct 2016 22:22:47
Bucks definitely say no.

4.) 09 Oct 2016 05:46:44
This is awful. Bucks get absolutely dumped on. Also rockets give up basically garbage (Beverley is compared to what they get so I'm just going to call him that, and brewer is nothing but a vet role player) and get three good pieces, 2 of which are young, talented big men and the other is a vet who's capable of putting up 20. Another point, hypothetically is WCS, Gay, Rubio, Mclemore were all on the same team, that package wouldn't even convince the bucks to trade Jabari. Let alone just the latter two.

Kings-Capela Ennis Harrell

Wolves-Willie CS, Malachi Richardson

Rockets -Gorgui Dieng, Tyrus Jones.

As a wolves fan I would do this. Kings would not. Maybe if you cut out Houston, but I doubt it.

2.) 05 Oct 2016 23:13:44
I tom tom post this comment for a different reason I'm afraid capela wouldn't take that next step to be a starting center an improve his free throw dieng game fits the rockets system and he's an 80% free throw and play defense. capela fits kings system because he wouldn't be look at to support a team just play defense and hustle point. wolves would really benefit with wcs townswnsd Wiggins that's a nice line up.

3.) 05 Oct 2016 23:35:14
Sacramento would only do this if they receive Dunn

Sacramento would trade WCS and McLemore for Dunn, but i think the Wolves would rather keep Dunn.

wolves ariza 2018 + 2020 1st from houston

denver zach, shabazz, 2017 1st from wolves

houston murray, dieng.

Tom tom

1.) 12 Aug 2016 01:03:05
Why does Minnesota do this? This is beyond bad for Minnesota. 2 starters, a key reserve, and a 1st round pick for 2 unknown 1st round picks and a decent starter.

2.) 12 Aug 2016 01:30:29
carl006 u can't pay everyone on your team roster max dollars (wolves) are looking at three to four players contact expiring a year are two apart. shabazz has shown little are no improvement zach is expendable and is do a hefty raise ( dunn) and dieng is do a hefty raise. probably this team will be sold in 5 are 6 years. s.

3.) 12 Aug 2016 02:32:32
We don't need to pay everyone max dollars?

This is beyond horrible for the Wolves.

4.) 12 Aug 2016 04:16:04
Tom tom. Carl is right, this is awful. Even if your thinking is right, and they do decide to get rid of all those assets, they'll look for a far better return

5.) 12 Aug 2016 05:38:16
PeKovic is a bad backup for Kat, twolves, would be stupid to give up Lavine without getting a star. Maybe rework it with pekovic and Rubio, and add dekker to the wolves or something.

6.) 12 Aug 2016 05:52:00
I disagree with the you can't pay everyone max dollars guy, I think you keep the best assets until you can sell them, besides, Rubio is most taxing on the cap now, and if Lavine never takes the next step they can offer him the same kind of bridge contraCT Rubio is on right now. And we don't even know what will happen if and when the players decide to lockout. If I were to wolves I'd trade pekovic first, and this off-season rubio.

7.) 12 Aug 2016 06:05:42
Pekovic isn't Towns' backup. They signed Aldrich and Hill this offseason.

8.) 12 Aug 2016 15:11:26
His thinking isn't right. So now teams trade top 5 picks because they are worried about max contracts 4 years away? get out of here.

If that's the case, the suns need to offload booker and Bender STAT!

9.) 12 Aug 2016 16:26:53
Denver gets all that for what? Murray?

09 Aug 2016 22:44:09
1st trade Denver and Philadelphia have money to spend

Philadelphia kj daniels, t ariza, m Harrell, c capela

Denver j Okafor, p Beverley

houston j murry, r covington tj McConnell

2nd trade

clippers d montiejunas (s&t)

houston d stone, b johnson, p pierce.

1.) 09 Aug 2016 23:11:06
Come on tom. Why wou do philly do that?

2.) 09 Aug 2016 23:16:32
No from LAC no need for Dmo. They have Speights and Bass as back ups while they keep some young guys.

3.) 09 Aug 2016 23:24:09
Not that great a return for Philly. KJ Daniels is young but meh and can't shoot, Ariza is a solid veteran but doesn't make sense for this team, Harrell is a tweener at a position of strength for philly and Capela is basically a worse version of Noel and also plays a position that is already loaded.

No reason for Denver to do that deal as they have plenty of bigs with Nurkic, Jokic, Lauvergne, Faried, Arthur and especially don't need an offensive one that plays little D.

2nd trade is alright.

4.) 09 Aug 2016 23:47:44
1st Denver and Philadelphia will be penalize if they don't spend the max, Philadelphia really wants to trade Okafor but not what teams want to give up. Okafor is better than any of denver bigs. 2 d mo is looking to get paid and he can be a excellent stretch four with Jordan and Paul running the point.

5.) 09 Aug 2016 23:51:36
the nba is following dmorey style ripped up the old contract and give out raises that way denver and Philadelphia willnt get penalize.

6.) 09 Aug 2016 23:55:32
Tom Tom : there is no penalty for not getting to the salary floor, the money you are "short" of the floor is divided amongst your current roster. that is not an incentive to make a poor trade. your reasoning is flawed and borderline ridiculous.

7.) 10 Aug 2016 13:14:14
Tom

Philly is not penalized. They have to spend to the cap floor or that portion left is divided among the guys they have. Not a big deal. Your asking them to give up a young stud big for nothing but to reach the cap floor?

I like this trade for Rubio he fits the rockects fast tempo style of play I really would think about hiring the shooting coach that's has been improving Rubio game as a shooter.

Way to much for Paul George the Lakers would set their organization back years with that trade.

Tom tom

1.) 30 Mar 2016 18:08:41
Depends on who Lakers can sign in free agency but they can't pass this up. Lakers would soup lines of players wanting to join if they signed George.

Mr. Morey since u have been at the helm of the houston Rockets u failed to deliver this city a championship, some of your moves I scratch my head and other moves it's a draw. You sign players way over their value and the rockets are spinning around chasing their tail. Good luck this is going to be your biggest summer yet to assemble a caliber playoff team for years to come.

this willnt be a bad trade for houston, the rockects would definitely have to flip den to a third team in order to make this deal work.

I don't think it's call knee jerk reactions it's call make the right businesses move for your team now and later in the future. I don't know but that is a pretty strong package for klay Thompson.
