If celtics choose Jackson

Sixers trade the third pick and okafor.

Lakers trade 2nd pick.

Sixers draft fultz at two

Lakers draft ball at three.

Everyone gets the guy they want and la get to add a young scoring center in okafor and still get ball ( who they probably like anyway)

If the celtics take someone other than Fultz, I think there becomes a bidding war for the 2nd pick. I highly doubt the Celtics pass on Fultz though.

2.) 16 Jun 2017 17:10:58
Yeah I don't think the rumors of Jackson going number 1 are the least it true. I think Fultz goes 1 almost guaranteed. I think there's more of chance Jackson goes 4 or 5 then 1.

3.) 16 Jun 2017 17:19:37
if fultz is available, okafor is no where near enough worth the move. fultz is valued above ball for the lakers. Okafor has no use to the lakers. Could you imagine how awful a defensive front line of Randle and Okafor would be? Legendary.

4.) 16 Jun 2017 17:19:59
if lakers trade the 2 at that point, the starting point would be 5 and 10 from the kings. and then some.

Bulls celtics and sixers.

Sixers trade okafor, three pick, and Covington
Sixers get first pick

Celtics trade Avery Bradley and number one pick
Celtics get jimmy butler.

Bulls trade jimmy butler
Bulls get three pick, okafor, Covington and Avery Bradley.

Bulls completely rebuild

Sixers get fultz who they probably need to complete their rebuilding efforts.

Celtics finally get a star player so they have a realistic chance to go to the finals. Right now there the celtics have zero chance to beat cavs or golden state. They need to make a move if not this one.

I would definitely prefer just getting #1 and Bradley over Okafor, Covington and #3 if I were the Bulls. 76ers would need to add their or Lakers 2018 pick for me to justify involving them in trade (can keep covington and Okafor in that scenario) . Celtics being how they are will probably draft Fultz and try and sign Hayward before trying to make a move for Butler.

PACERs and sixers.

Sixers trade: Noel, (better of sixers and Sacramento pick swap), lakers pick ( top three protected 2017 and unprotected in 2018) sacramento 2019 unprotected pick.

Pacers trade Paul George.

Pacers rebuild right away getting three unprotected first assuming lakers pick doesn't convey this year. Sets themselves up for a solid rebuild going forward. They sign Noel to play next to turner. Turner shoots 37 percent from three so the pairing could be solid.

Sixers get a star without giving up embiid or Simmons, who are their most important assets. They have a ton of money left to sign a few more players and George is under contract for the next two season. That's a solid group to build with going forward.

1.) 22 Feb 2017 19:41:41
Too much for potentially one year of george.

2.) 22 Feb 2017 20:23:18
Not a chance. George alone won't make the 76ers all that better. Basically 4 1sts for George? NOT in this lifetime.

3.) 22 Feb 2017 22:26:07
How is that 4 firsts? Is a 4 year vet still considered a rookie now?

4.) 22 Feb 2017 23:14:23
There pick would become a lotto pick. No way philly does this!

5.) 23 Feb 2017 00:05:42
i take this as an indy fan.

This would only work for the sixers if B Simmons can play PG. They hope he can become the next Giannis antetokounpo, but i think he should play PF.

Bulls knicks and Philly

Sixers trade okafor staukis
Sixers get mirotic, mcbuckets, and rondo.

Bulls trade mirotic, mcbuckets, and rondo.
Bulls get melo

Knicks trade melo
Knicks get okafor staukis

Only a six player deal so possible. Bulls take a run at the title. Sixers get mcbuckets and mirotic for accepting rondos contract. Knicks get the guy they wanted on draft day in okafor to pair with provingus. Staukis helps a bit for youth movement as well.

With the emergence of Hernangomez and the boat anchor contract of Noah, along with O'Quinn, I don't see the Knicks being as interested in Okafor today as they were 18 months ago.

2.) 14 Feb 2017 21:27:45
Well let's Ben real Noah is way past his prime.

Hernangomez is nothing. Like literally nothing. He's tj McConnell. Playing well but back up quality. o quinn I still a pf.

3.) 15 Feb 2017 04:10:42
Agree 100 percent Hernangomez comment tre. For sure a backup on not even a good team, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

the sixers shouldn't need to take on rondo in this deal though.

Sixers lakers realistic trade.

Sixers trade Noel and lakers pick.

Lakers trade Ingram

I think Sixers's give enough here for sure. They get a player of the future who they can start molding now with Simmons coming back soon and embiid. Sixers still have the swap with sac and that means another high prospect coming soon.

Sixers starts next year

Dennis smith
Staukis
Ingram
Simmons
Embiid

Lakers finally can say the tanking is worth it for sure as they keep they're pick this year so one of ball Jackson fultz smith would be a great addition. If nothing else it looks like it could be a long rebuild so they keep the unprotected pick next year. They also get a legit starting center in Noel who will absolutely help that teams terrible defense. He's a restricted free agent so lakers can match any offer and have him for four more years.

Lakers starters next year.

Russell
Jackson/ smith/ ball etc
Young
Randle
Noel.

Young could be easily replaced with a mid level free agent.

All 76ers could get for Noel right now is a second-rounder. As a RFA the team that trades for him might have to way overpay just to keep him around.

2.) 05 Feb 2017 17:20:37
Noel is a borderline starter at best. There are at least 20 centers I'd take over him. He doesn't have a ton of value, especially since someone is going to overpay him because of the flashy defensive potential. And the lakers pick doesn't hold a ton of value either, as they're currently sitting 3rd right now, so they'd keep their pick again.

I wouldn't trade Ingram for those two. I think if you wanted him you'd have to include philis pick instead of the laker pick.

3.) 05 Feb 2017 17:28:01
Noel is Deandre Jordan without Chris Paul. If he had a great point guard he would be just as good if not better than Jordan. Extremely undervalued and I believe the Sixers should hang on to him and see what he can do with someone like Lonzo Ball or Dennis Smith maybe Jrue Holiday. Also will be showcased when Simmons comes back.

4.) 05 Feb 2017 18:07:54
Lol @sheeee, better than Jordan? Nah

5.) 05 Feb 2017 18:12:43
B Miller.

And how is Ingram a starter again. O wait he isn't. And while o see flashes her and there it's no more flashes then I saw with Noel in his rookie year

Supercollider

I know this is shocking but if someone is overpaying for Noel I guess he's worth something then huh. Must be somewhat good player huh. So why woudlnt the lakers want him. Worst defense in the league.

6.) 05 Feb 2017 19:06:22
Noel hasn't improved since his rookie year, he's javale mcgee, not deandre Jordan.

Ingram is a 19 year old rookie that has started less than 20 games. He has potential that we haven't seen yet. Noel has been in the NBA for 4 years and hasn't shown that he's a starter, but has shown that he has some major injury issues. and he's not an elite defender, he's above average at best.

On overpaying Noel: crabbe, Turner, deng, and biyombo got overpaid too, doesn't mean they're worth nearly what they got. That's why trading for Noel would scare me.

7.) 05 Feb 2017 19:28:57
Bmiller.

I can see that. If Noel was the only center on my roster I would have signed him without a problem. The thing is with embiid there and okafor under contract that's more of a back up kind of pay it's hard for me to say Philly will resign him. They might though and trade okafor. I think that says everything you need to know about Noel's value.

Philly "might" resign him to play 15 minutes off the bench at a max deal. If the suxers, a team who has the least reason to have Noel on the roster in the league may resign him for max he must have some serious value. Especially on a team like the lakers who desperately need a big man. Mozgof was a mistake. Back up I guess.

8.) 05 Feb 2017 21:56:35
Due to the Lakers current record they may keep their pick regardless so I don't think it holds as much value as it should to them. If it were the Philly pick instead I think they'd be more interested. I think Noel is a better player than most people think but his trade value is still quite low due to his contract situation and his numbers are down from last year (although not really his fault).

I could see Lakers being interested in Noel especially since there aren't any good bigs in this upcoming draft (although next year is loaded with them) but I don't think they'd want to give up Ingram to do so. I think something along the lines of a Clarkson and Noel swap would be beneficial for both sides.

Terrible singing for Philly. Way to much money for redick. Iffy I like but these guys are old they won't be around much longer and your giving them long term deals. It's insane.

I don't see any reason to give the pacers the number two pick. Pacers are desperate now. Let George come to la naturally unless you can get him for randel and the two late firsts.
