Why the Pistons do it?
Cousins is on of the best Bigs in the league. He is developing a good jumper for a Van Gundy offense. And Martin and Collison aren't bad options to help replace the players they are losing.

Why the Kings Do it?
Cousins isn't happy there. If Rondo wants to leave in the off season they potentially could resign Jennings cheaper. KCP and Morris are developing well as players. And the 2 first round picks don't hurt.

Why the Timberwolves do it?
Gay has playoff experience and can be a leader on this team with KG. Ilyasova brings a nice veteran off there bench with all that young talent. I think with adding these peaces the Timberwolves can make the playoffs next season.

So the pistons get Cousins, arguably the best center in the league who is in his prime and under a reasonable contract for a couple more years. And they ge a starting 2 and a legit backup 1.and they get this for a back up guard, KCP, the less talented morris twin and a 1st? Come on. Oh forgot, they give up Illasove. a player who would be the wolves back up? No chance they can pull that return for what they are giving out.

^pizza I agree mostly but Marcus is looking like the better twin this year. He has more fight and is the better shooter. The guy has already won a game or 2 for Detroit.

Why the Hornets do it?
They get a very good 6th man in Jennings and a veteran in Granger to help out MKG.

Why the Pistons do it?
Williams if a good stretch 4 and Hairston has some untapped potential.

Detroit has potential that they are tapping into with Morris and Johnson. This weakens their bench by trading Jennings. A healthy Jennings proven can get them more at the trade deadline.

Mavericks recieve- Brandon Jennings, Danny Granger, and Reggie Bollick

Pistons recieve- Justin Anderson, Devin Harris, and a future 2nd rd pick

Why the Mavericks do it?
Get a quality starting PG and a couple cheap bench peaces to go along with there expensive starting line-up.

Why the Pistons do it?
Anderson has great 3/D potential and Harris can be the back-up PG for a year while Dinwiddie continues to develop.

Why not, it is only one year on Jennings, maybe he works with Dallas maybe not. And I would like to get Granger but more to backup Nowitzki at the PF.

I kinda like it for detroit. Harris has some skill at the backup pg. Anderson is a beast! Stanley and Justin can fight for sf minutes for years to come.
