Wizards get a big draft pick and young players. Although taking on Anderson. They also get good vet in rondo and also young wing.

Thunder do this if their 3 pointer situation is a big issue. Get a shooter that can take pressure off Westbrook and George.

Sixers do this to get set for playoffs while getting assets back. Get a lesser shooter but get a elite perimetr defender for playoffs + a 1st.

Abrines isn’t even a rotation player on most capable teams, Roberson is an athletic hustle defender that has had 3 knee surgeries in under a year who won’t be back until possibly January (he also overlaps with Covington a lot), a protected future first doesn’t do much for the 76ers, this limits the ability of the Sixers to make moves in free agency, Shamet looks like a decent young prospect to this point, and the 76ers need more shooting as it is. I just don’t see any motivation for Philly to make this move.

Sixers are underachieving and so have the thunder so far. This trade favors the thunder and they would do it. The Sixers would not, and may make a move for butler. It would be a smart play. Millsap hasn't been an over paid bust in DEN, and he is 7 years older. Butler could be a great addition if he'll stay?

I think Ball is being underrated on here. He has warts, but the guy is 20, talented, and he was solid last year. It’s not ridiculous to think he could become a bigger version of Rondo or a more athletic Rubio and his jumper is ugly but he makes it more than either of those two did at his age. The guys floor is probably a low end starting pg and his ceiling is a big 2 way allstar pg.

Rubio was a better 3pt shooter. That’s shocking.

The difference is rondo was very good at defense and a leader. Rubio, no one really wanted. Let alone tried to act like he’s something amazing.

Ball is a solid distributor and rebounder. He is a liability shooting and defending. Thus his value isn’t that high.

Nobody wanted Rubio? He was an extremely hyped player coming into the league. He was in a similar situation to Doncic. a young kid playing in Europe at a very high level. His passing was out of this world at that point. He was supposed to be the European J-Kidd, or at least Jason Williams. It never quite panned out, and the Love/ Rubio pairing did about as well as the Towns/ Wiggins duo has so far.

Taking Rubio wasn't even the mistake that draft for the Wolves, it was taking Flynn one pick later. If they had taken Curry or DeRozan, they would have had a really solid young core to build with. They still had an in his prime Al Jefferson, young Corey Brewer and a rookie Wayne Ellington in addition to those guys. That could have been an explosive offensive team.

Rubio is ten times the player ball is. Ball could get there one day maybe, but what Rubio did last season and has thus far this one, it's not even a comparison. Shooting, assists, steals Rubio walks away with easily. Ball gets him at rebounding. I can live with my PG not being the best rebounding PG in the league, but passing and shooting I prioritize, and rubio does that better than ball by far.

Reasonable return? Warren is basically a cheaper version of Wiggins. He not a great defender nor any good on offense.

And I don't think that 1st can be conveyed until 2022, at the earliest.

What does everyone think about the knicks recent trade of chandler and Felton going to mavs for dalembert, Larkin, Calderon, Ellington along with 2nd round pick number 34 and another in top 50s.
What I think knicks should do to go forward;
Draft the Indian center whose 7 feet 5 inches tall weighs over 350 pounds bull dozer who has a post game like dirk, shoots the ball from 3 point like dirk and has the presence of shaq Down the post dunking over top nba prospect players like embiid averaging 12 points 8 rebounds and 3 blocks per game in 23 minutes!

When I posted on here a couple days ago, I said Lebron James will opt out to be a free agent and everyone on here laughed and said no way. Guess what? Go to nba.com and see that Lebron James is a free agent.
And the best team to sign him is the knicks
