here's an interesting scenario that I think could happen for the sixers:

assuming this lakers pick does not cash in for the sixers this season:

sixers trade: Lakers pick and robert covington
pistons trade: brandon jennings

i can see this as a possibility because pistons don't really have a small forward currently, and they already have reggie Jackson who could replace jennings

76ers do this because they will be able to bring dario saric to the nba next season and need a replacement for Mcw

obviously, question would be then who would the sixers pick in the draft, I really see De'Angelo russle as a shooting guard, I have seen scouts compate russle to being almost of the caliber of james harden

yes Russle can handle the ball but also he can play off the ball very well, I think he and jennings would be able to co-exist together rather nicely

then with the other 2 possible first round picks, I would like any effective sg and any effective pf:

Sg: Devin Booker: he could be taken earlier but I would like the sixers to draft him with the heat's pick (#11-#30), whenever that might be, he can shoot lights out at times, which is a need of the sixers right now

pf:rakeem christmas: solid player, good post up game, something the sixers also need right now, would be a good fit when embiid is not on the floor since embiid is also a good post up player

starting lineup:
Jennings
russle
Saric
Noel
embiid

backups:
wroten
booker
mbah a moute
grant
christmas
mcghee
sims

1.) Ur method will lead the sixers to nowhere. Sixers r rebuilding by draft picks.

2.) Sixers have no interest in winning next year either, why would they give up what will most likely be a top 10 pick in the draft in 2016 for Brandon Jennings?

3.) I don't like it. Not enough elite talent to win. Jenning isn't worth a possible top five pick. Covingtons better then him to be honest.

4.) Terrible trade for sixers. just horrible

5.) I don't like the trade either from both parties involved. Covington is at best a bench player on a good team. His defense to offense stats are not very good and this is his first year of posting anything good on a very bad team. Jennings can get you more then Covington, but not a player and a High first round pick.

sixers rebuilding plan:

trade deadline deal shocker:
76ers trade; tony wroten mcw nerlens noel and ak47
wolves trade; kevin martin and shabazz muhammed
lakers trade; nick young ed davis and thier 1st round pick (assuming it is top 5)

76ers get; lakers 1st, kevin martin shabazz muhammed
wolves get: nick young ed davis tony wroten
lakers get; ak47 mcw noel

draft:
Projected #1 pick: Jahilil Okafor
projected #2-#5 pick; Draft De'Angelo russle
projected pick (via heat) #14-#30; draft justin winslow

free agency:
extend a few players like kj mcdaniels robert covington etc to long term contracts;

sign patty mills (4yr 16 million)

starting rotation:
De'angelo russle
kevin martin
robert covington
Jahilil okafor
joel embiid

bench;
luc richard mbah a moute
shabazz muhammed
henery sims
justin winslow
patty mills
kj mcdaniels
dario saric (maybe)
jakar sampson

1.) Instead of giving up Noel(huge defensive presence) , MCW(ROY who is a solid point guard),and Wroten(solid combo guard off the bench),.3 pieces in place in the rebuild, Just draft Russell to help with ball handling and shoot he lights out. Maybe bring over Saric, and draft the best player available with Miami's pick. Continue with player development.

2.) Hmm, where to start with this. The easiest part. patty mills, 16 mill contract for 4 years? Get out of here. Moving on. you think the lakers, for the 4th or 5th pick in the draft and a couple role players, will get MCW AND Nerlens Noel? False.

2nd, you have the 76ers projected at #1 with okafor. they are actually projected at #3, and there's a sold drop past okafor and mundaiy. Then you have the lakers pick projected 2-5. the lakers won't get that hugh.

THEN you have the heat pick, projected 14-30. again, no clue how you make these projections. but they will get justin winslow. i'm assuming you mean JUSTICE, the guy most likely a lottery pick, but somehow dropping significantly so the sixers pick him up.

This leaves your starting rotation to russel at pg. a rookie, who literally is subbed right in for MCW. no improvement there. Kevin Martin, doesn't know how to say defense or do ANYTHING besides shoot. Covington, a career d-leaguer. Okafor. a Center now playing PF even though his only real knock is he is a slow defender so you put him in a position where he needs to be quick. and then embiid. the severly overweight embiid who has yet to do anything. This is miserable.

Worst trade for the wolves I've ever seen

4.) Never ever make another trade proposal about my sixers again.

5.) Seriously like wtf.

6.) Pizza. obviously hasn't watched the Sixers very much at all this season. Tell me I'm wrong?? How many full games have you watched? Just judging from some of the comments you made. no offense intended.

Why would the sixers trade a lotto pick (possibly). especially when they could draft a player that has a higher talent ceiling than both of those players. and this also goes against hinkie's philosophy, he wants to acquire 1st round picks not trade them away for average players that'll arguably be coming off the sixers bench if they'd get traded there, maybe stauskis starts but certainly not derek williams, sixers are at the rebuilding stage in which they need to find players capable of starting, their bench won't need anymore help when those players come in.
