Bulls sign and trade Zach Lavine and Bobby Portis and Justin Holiday to Portland plus 2019 bulls first for CJ McCollum and Al Fruq Aminu

Bulls also with pels pick take Mitchell Robinson and MPJ with there pick

Sign Jursik Nurkic sign KCP sign Fred van leet.

13 Apr 2018 14:55:06
Bulls pick MPJ then with pels pick take Mitchell Robinson then on draft night try to get a extra few firsts for 19 for rolo Justin Holiday Jerian Grant.

someoneslife

1.) 13 Apr 2018 15:11:45
POR would probably give up a first for Lopez if Bulls took Turner or Leonard in return. Didn't Pax or Hoiberg say Looez was in Long term plans recently?

2.) 14 Apr 2018 21:05:06
It’s obviously mpj wants to be a bull his sc Twitter follows bulls players could tell all teams his medical records are bad but tell bullls he’s fine.

03 Apr 2018 20:01:23
Bulls this offseason draft Mikal Bridges and with pels pick Mitchell Robinson if someone offers Zach a 20m+ years contract don’t match it he’s not worth it. Instead sign will Barton, Maybe also look into signing KCP trade Robin Lopez too the Celtics for 2019 clippers first and send them Justin holiday and Grant would be cheaper than resigning Terry rozel and marcus smart look to get out of felecio and Omar asik contract maybe alanta for Kent bazemore and 2020 and 2021 first? Sign Fred vanleet to back up dunn then fire hoiberg sign David fizdale and sign Ron Adams who should of never got fired from the bulls.

someoneslife

1.) 03 Apr 2018 22:26:39
Hoiberg is 100 times better than Fizdale easily. CHI isn't landing James are they? That's about the only guy that will keep him in line, maybe. C's don't want Lopez over anyone they currently have, and certainly not a 1st. Lavine isn't getting 20 mil, no worries there. DEN isn't letting Barton go. Without the lottery occurring tough to say who the Bulls would draft. They need a Center.

2.) 03 Apr 2018 23:20:40
Go bulls.

3.) 03 Apr 2018 23:37:38
Those 2 trades are both ridiculous. I do think it's possible that Lavine could get 20 million. He probably should get around 15 million, but young guys could end up with some big offers given the teams that do have cap space.

4.) 04 Apr 2018 00:26:59
But teams under the cap like nets did with Otto Porter jr 76ers.

5.) 04 Apr 2018 02:08:55
Stupidity like with O. Porter isn't going to go on forever. WAS would deal him if they could. All the tweeners getting too much was predicted before t. v. Money went into effect. Said it would stop within a couple seasons. This is the year I bet. 1-3 mil. Cap increase is all that is expected.

20 Mar 2018 23:40:26
How much do you think Zach Lavine will get this offseason for a contract he’s not worth 20m+ more like 13/ 15m a year.

someoneslife

1.) 21 Mar 2018 00:47:12
I've heard/ read between 10 and 15 for Hood. I'd assume Lavine gets a little more than that so maybe 12 to 18. For either it seems like some of the tanking teams could throw a wrench in that if they really like one of them.

2.) 21 Mar 2018 02:47:28
12-15 mil. Inconsistency has been a problem. He's good no doubt, but I bet whatever CHI offers he takes. I don't see a lot of teams beating his door down.

3.) 21 Mar 2018 13:14:59
I'm confused Rkenne_16, the sample size of Hood and what he brings is significantly larger, and more successful than Lavine. Where are you coming up with your valuation from? Lavine had little if any success in MIN, got injured, and has had about 10-15 good games this season.

4.) 21 Mar 2018 13:43:20
The sample size is Hood has 240 career games played and Lavine has 230. Lavine has the higher shooting percentage, averages more points, assists, rebounds, defender, is 3 years younger, and is the better athlete. Obviously, his knee injury is concerning, but he's looked alright since returning.

5.) 21 Mar 2018 14:33:40
They're defensive #'s are nearly identical, hood is bigger too. Hood is the better shooter, especially on the perimeter. Where are you coming up with these #'s? Hood is 1 year older, so they both have missed significant time early in their careers. And Hood before being traded to CLE was averaging about 17, on a team with 3-4 other good players at his position. CLE has not been a good fit for him, until now that they finally benched Smith, and Hood is having back issues now. 34%, and 39% from 3 in the NBA is a huge margin of separation. Hood is the 39% guy. Lavine hasn't looked good since Dunn came back in the line-up. Size alone I value Hood more at a 2-3 than Lavine at a 2. Lavine wants to do the Marbury, Jordan thing which doesn't work anymore. Maybe because of age Lavine carries equal value, but that's the only clear advantage along with finishing at the rim. These guys are kind of 2 different players. Guys go under the screen on Lavine. Not with Hood. Youth, athleticism, and potential possibly nets Lavine equal pay to Hood, but I think Hood will edge him out in salary 2-3 mil.

6.) 21 Mar 2018 14:46:40
I'm looking at career numbers and since coming back Lavine hasn't shot well in a tiny sample size, but has hit a higher percentage for his career. No one is going under a screen on Lavine. They have similiar ability behind the arc. Size is nice, but Hood doesn't use it on the defensive end and is a worse finisher than Lavine as you stated. Lavine was a better player last year than Hood is this year and has the higher upside. I like Hood, but I like Lavine more.

7.) 21 Mar 2018 15:17:10
I see someone who misses out on a big FA pulling a Knicks a la Hardaway and offering 4 at $68M ($17 per) . I agree with rkenne that he should be in the $12-$15M a year range.

8.) 21 Mar 2018 16:20:57
Depends on what you want from a player.

LaVine is almost three years younger (Hood born 10-20-92 and LaVine born 3-10-95).

Hood is bigger and can play the 2 and 3. LaVine is almost exclusively a SG (witch some PG abilities) .

Per 36: Hood is 17.0-4.0-2.6 and LaVine 17.6-3.8-4.0.
Shooting: Hood .417-.368.831 and LaVine .437-.373.820

I also think LaVine still has a larger upside and is more explosive.

9.) 21 Mar 2018 17:39:58
Agree that MIL biggest problem is 5 and Giannis won't wait for ever to solve it. they should go for Cousins because there is no other FA that can make the difference. Jordan is more likely to stay in LA or follow Lebron. with jabari in MIL gives a better starting lineup to Cousins than NO. Cousins should think about MIL because he can find max only in worse teams with less ambition including the pelicans.

10.) 21 Mar 2018 17:42:20
I guess we'll all see come July who gets more, and for how long. I do think any outside team could come in and snatch one, or both of these guys for 17-20 mil. If Lavine turns into an Oladipo, I'l be eating my words, and Lavine has that potential. I haven't seen that as of yet though.

11.) 21 Mar 2018 18:09:36
Milpso, the Bucks at best can offer him the MLE (I'm not even sure if they can offer that) . He would have to take 25+ million per year less than his max at best to sign with the Bucks and really how much better are the Bucks right now than the Pelicans. They have a little bit better roster, but not significantly better.

12.) 22 Mar 2018 13:22:33
Just because I don’t want to read all of jorgas junk. It’s true. Hood is taller. Thus he is slotted as a different primary position and limited on what he plays. Lavine is a better shooter for his career. Both for 2s and 3s. He rebounds better. Passes better

Also. Hood is born on 92. Lavine in 95. The fact that jorga tried t defeat rkenne ‘s argument because lavine is only one year younger is hysterical. I ain’t no math whiz, but me thinks 95-92 does not equal 1. But hey. Jorga thinks it does. So cool!

13.) 22 Mar 2018 14:05:40
So Hood being able to play 2 positions instead of only 1 makes him limited on plays? Rubbish! Hood is shooting the 3 ball better this season. Ignore the numbers if you like. 39%, and 35%. Are different. Regardless of your derangement. Hood is a season older professionally. But I didn't clarify by prefacing that with age, or years as a pro so spin it the way you like. We all revel in your deep wisdom. I attempted to defeat no one. There is no unraveling begging, pleading, always right narcissism, and I don't put energy to waste on it. Great spin though who's your publisher?

18 Mar 2018 18:55:19
Bulls draft picks Mikal Bridges and Daniel grafford center pels pick we trade Robin Lopez and Justin holiday Grant plus 2020 1st for kris Middleton then in free agency we sign Fred van leet Mario from magic sign Gerald green sign Zach Lavine 4 years 75m.

someoneslife

1.) 18 Mar 2018 19:51:18
I'd say make that a NOP pick for Middleton, and it's a far reaching possibility. The 2020 is just too many years away to be of significant value for the Bucks who are seriously competing now. Lopez is just a salary filler with not much value. Holiday is the best piece in that proposal. Depends on how much Bucks value salary relief.

2.) 18 Mar 2018 21:47:31
Sentences are your friend.

3.) 18 Mar 2018 22:52:35
Pels pick won’t find you a sf like Khris.

4.) 19 Mar 2018 07:01:03
No way bucks do this that's a lot of junk.

5.) 19 Mar 2018 13:12:18
I can't see Middleton being traded unless it's in a package for a star. He's probably their 2nd best player.

6.) 19 Mar 2018 17:08:09
Someoneslife, far reaching means about as likely as lighting shooting out of your ass.

7.) 19 Mar 2018 17:42:37
I believe K. Middleton, and Giannis A. Are the two of Milwaukee's Core players, and pretty much untouchable. Just can't the Bucks doing it. Plus, the jury is still out on J. Parker.

8.) 19 Mar 2018 22:57:39
I think Middleton gets vastly underrated based on how great the GreekFreak is. It would take more to get him.

Saw Andrew Wiggins wants his own team what if the bulls traded Robin Lopez Denzel valentine Grant and 2020 and 2021 1st then bulls would have a Young SF then use the pick for a center hopefully first take Ayton.

Who would the bulls get for that mediocre package? Clearly not Wiggins.

19 Jan 2018 21:35:22
What can the bulls realistically get for nikola Robin Lopez Justin Holiday and Jerian Grant?

someoneslife

1.) 19 Jan 2018 22:46:17
Nikola could fetch anything from a 1st, maybe late lottery, to two rotational guys. R. Lopez is not very valuable. You have to find a guy who has more years than he to a team needing to save cash, or include a draft pick, or take less back by including Mirotic and Grant.

I really doubt CHI is looking to deal Holiday. Grant is even a maybe. They're not costing the team much, and it's not like CHI is a front-runner in top tier free-agent chase this summer. R. Lopez is easy enough to buy-out or waive this summer. It really isn't beneficial to rush him out the door, but entertain offers is a great plan.

2.) 21 Jan 2018 13:38:24
Bulls have the most cap space this offseason lol teams screwed themselfs with few years ago contracts.

3.) 21 Jan 2018 19:57:04
The rebuilding Bulls would be a great destination because of cap space to acquire those bad contracts you mention for assets. Because they are not landing Top Tier free agents. Vucevic, Gordon, are maybe's at best if Orlando decides to trade, or not re-sign them. that's about the highest caliber FA CHI has a chance at. Boogie, George, James, Paul, Jordan are not playing in Chicago. It's why R. Lopez is valuable to the Bulls, and while entertaining offers is smart, but league wide I doubt many teams value him at 13 mil. Good chip to throw in for compensation on a guy like Parsons, Noah, Batum, Mozgov, E. Turner, M. Williams, MKG. In exchange for a pick. This isn't a knock on CHI, they are rebuilding. They could very well have one of the best young teams in the league. I just don't see R. Lopez starting on any other NBA team. Maybe SAC, but that's even a long shot. 13mil almost requires you to be a starter, or at least 6th man.

03 Jan 2018 02:23:52
Anyone think the draft lottery in Chicago will be rigged for the bulls silver knows bulls fans hate garpax look how lucky they got rose in 2008.

someoneslife

1.) 03 Jan 2018 15:19:17
Eh, if the draft lottery was rigged, why did 2 small market teams in Cleveland and NOs get 4 straight 1st overall picks? Also, the owners would almost have to be in on it and I think owners like Gilbert and Cuban that are willing operate at a loss would lose it and out the whole thing if their teams were screwed in the process.

2.) 03 Jan 2018 18:38:42
Hmm maybe that pick too sell too gs was too pay the draft lottery?
