If these players are available, what are you giving up to get them?

1. Devin Booker
2. Rudy Gobert
3. D'Angelo Russell
4. Karl Towns
5. Jayson Tatum

I’ll just use the Cavs roster and pretend like they can trade their 1st this year to make it easy. I wouldn’t trade a big package from the Cavs for anyone right now given where they are at.

Booker for Sexton, KPJ, TT and the 2020 1st top 3 protected

Gobert for Love and the 2020 top 5 protected

Russell for Sexton, Osman, Nance, and the Buck 2021 1st

KAT for Garland, KPJ, TT, the 2020 1st, the Bucks 21 1st the 22 1st top 5 protected

Tatum (plus some filler) for Nance, Garland, Osman and the 2021 1st top 5 protected.

How could you dislike this post answers? They ask a question, what are you willing to give up .

Because you insinuated that Turner=Gobert, which is crazy.

I disagree with your valuation of either your own players or the traded players, or both.

for now Gobert is the better player and the better defender, but M Turner is a good defender has a better 3- pointer, is younger and has a cheaper contract.

I would like Gobert on my team, but i rather pass if we have to give up more than M turner.

Fair enough, I just fully disagree with that comparison.

Gobert is a generational defender. He's the kind of guy that offenses build an entire gameplan around. Turner is a solid defender. It's like comparing Harden and McCollum offensively.

It's not a comparison.
I only believe that Indy wouldn't be a better team if we have to give up more than Turner.

And i'm an Indy fan, so that's what i would be prepared to give up to get Gobert.

And other teams would propably give a better offer, if Utah considers a Gobert for Turner trade :-)

Kings would probably go after Tatum or KAT. And Tatum's rookie salary makes it hard to work deals for.

Tatum is a weird one in this group, because I see him as an asset to get a star, not one himself (yet) .

Overall, Gobert and Towns is probably 1-2 good young players and 2-3 firsts. The other 3 are probably a young player (or two solid vets) and 1-2 firsts.

Were mine bad enough to only be down voted? Assuming the next two Cavs picks were pretty high lottery and Garland is high end prospect that seems pretty ridiculous to me? Was I just over valuing the Cavs young guys?

Towns and Gobert have been All NBA players.

Prospects that may be good, and a future pick or two, are highly unlikely to bring back a star of this quality.

@rkenne_16
Only the Gobert for K Love and the pick is really out of proportion (just my opinion) (And i believe K Love still has some positive value)
