Need to add the NYK 2020 1st if you're getting Paul AND oladipo.

I am in the minority, but in a Paul to New York deal that includes the Knicks being willing to move Barrett, OKC will want RJ. and they have the ammo in picks to get him. Instead of a Paul to New York deal that includes picks returning to OKC, OKC attaches 1-2 picks to Paul and gets RJ back to pair with fellow Canadian SGA. I think it’s a win for both sides. The pick could go to Indy if they want Oladipo still.

Well then give Randle to IND.

Churchpugh, why go after RJ hard? He’s pretty similar to SGA. They could make it work, but I don’t think he’s and ideal fit. You’re basically committing to your 2 and 3 being works in progress as shooters.

Rkenne_16, I am a die hard thunder guy. If they grab RJ, they have two young guys under team control for like the next 5-10ish years if they give them 5 year extensions after their rookie deals. SGA proved he has star potential and I think RJ has it too. Both are Canadian and can grow a special chemistry long term. They have tons of picks moving forward. Like a crazy amount. Burning a few for a top asset like Barrett is worth the gamble. They can grow together and hopefully get back to a perennial playoff team. They are a small market and won’t win big FA sweepstakes anytime soon and so getting a young guy under team control is massive. Just my thoughts.
