Warriors/76ers

Warriors receive: Joel Embiid

76ers receive: Andrew Wiggins, the 2nd overall pick and two to three other first round picks.

Plus players or trade exceptions to balance the books

The process has obviously failed, the 76ers fired their coach Brett Brown and they have over 100 million dollars tied up in their four best players, i'm not saying you start to rebuild but you want to trade away the pieces that are not working and try again with Simmons as your best player.

Saying the process failed is like acquiring a millions of dollars in 4 years then as soon as you’re ready to spend that money you set 80% of the cash on fire and say you failed at acquiring money.

Disagree with that comparison. Terrible free agent and max contract signings. Players that only play half the time after Philly tanked for years to get those high picks. Fultz was awful as a number one pick, too. Have to start over as you can't build around players that only play 50 games a year and are on max contracts. Tear it down and rebuild or lose millions for years to come with an average team at best.

Terrible free agents and max contract signings along with god awful trades (Fultz x2, okafor, Tobias) would be the burning of the cash.

The Sixers are going to want win now talent in any package for one of their stars, if they are even willing to trade them. They aren’t going to rebuild. Wiggins is a 6th man caliber player right now. That 2 pick isn’t equal to most 2nd picks. The top of the draft isn’t very good. If one of those other picks isn’t the Timberwolves pick that’s a terrible offer.

50 games a year isn't worth trading much for. Embiid and Simmons are on max contracts to boot. That owner is going to be giving up tens of millions of dollars over the next few years for an average team in the East if they don't start dumping some or all four of those huge salaries. Owners are business people. Can't see that happening.
