I don’t see a scenario where I’d trade Lillard to Phili. Move Lillard for other assets and stay focused on trying to swap McCollum (maybe with Covington if Lillard goes) for Simmons.

Darry not many contending teams will trade their No.1 player for Lillard. The point of a contender trading for Lillard is to pair him with their No.1 guy

Lillard and Embiid (trade Simmons and assets)
Lillard and Tatum (trade Brown and assets)
Lillard and Jokic (trade Murray and assets)

Etc.

Bmiller I understand that and would agree. However if Lillard requested a trade I think Phili would push really hard to pair him up with Embiid.

@NBA16 yeah unfortunately there’s not many teams that I think can realistically get Lillard.
-Denver will run their current core back- I think they are more competitive with MPJ and Murray than Lillard.
-Boston could make a big move as they’ve been very disappointing, but I’m not sure Lillard is that guy. Maybe Sexton since he’s similar in age to their core and they could probably get him without including Brown.
-Philly maybe but I don’t think Portland really wants Simmons.
That leaves not many teams that are trying to reach that next step and also have the assets to get Lillard.

Hope the Celtics stay clear of Dame. They can get more production from two 20mil players.
Collins and Ball make more sense, Collins would be harder to acquire but Ball would be easier.

second trade is worse than first trade. bridges had a very good year. he is cheaper and healtier than nurkic. nurkic is always hurt and bad at defence.
