If Kyrie is still unvaccinated in December...

Heat get Kyrie Irving

Nets get Kyle Lowry and Victor Oladipo

Kyrie and Jimmy Butler have a great relationship, so the Heat could probably make this deal without the fear of Kyrie retiring. The Nets get a quality PG to replace Kyrie and a great 6th man in Oladipo.

I like for both teams.

Only reason I think the Heat would be hesitant is the possibility that they meet the Nets in the playoffs. Not having Kyrie for those road games would be a huge blow. Other than that though, I think Pat Riley would be all for it.

Lowry's leadership will be great for Brooklyn.

I dislike the Nets and I love Lowry, but the value seems really fair and Lowry would certainly be a great fit in BKN.

I wouldn't touch Lowry on that contract.

Kyrie's overall stock as an NBA PG is down since he left Boston.

ah but Darry, you're forgetting the petulant Kyle. He'll be some totally pissed if he's traded away from Miami. Jimmy would be too, even if Kyrie was coming. Kyle and Jimmy are close.

@rapsfan I don’t think it’s fair to say Kyle is petulant. I’m sure he wouldn’t be happy if the Heat traded him after a couple of months but there’s plenty of worse places they could trade him to than Brooklyn.

As far as Jimmy is concerned, he wants a championship more than anything. Trading one homie for another who gives you a better chance at a championship probably wouldn’t leave him feeling too bitter.

@Casual - I love Kyle Lowry as the greatest Raptor ever, but part of his charm over the years in Toronto has been his capacity to be petulant at times. he signed with the Heat and didn't even talk to the Knicks because Miami is where he wanted to be. I could definitely see some attitude happening if they just dumped him at first chance.
