I don't get everyone's fascination with Sabonis. He can't shoot and he can't defend. Definitely not worth the Warriors giving up their entire young core.

Sabonis averaged 20/ 12/ 7 last year and is a good (but not great) defender. And he’s only 25. And underpaid. You don’t see why people might want that on their team?

He would be a GREAT fit in GS. Smart passer, great fit with Green. I think adding him makes them a huge favorite to win for the foreseeable future. Screw the future, win while you have prime Steph.

Sabonis would be a better defender with a team that uses him as a center where he wouldn’t have to guard on perimeter a lot.

Two passing bigs who can’t shoot in Sabonis and Draymond just seems like a clunky fit to me.
