Well I don't know if Aytons contract is actually considered positive value. So maybe send the bulls some more.

Bulls- Ayton, 2023 1st round pick

Pacers- 2025 unprotected 1st, 2027 top 10 protected 1st , Shamet, Saric

Suns- Derozan, Drummond, Turner

I shouldn't have to explain why this makes sense, but lmk your thoughts

Makes sense for the Bulls and Suns. Pacers say no. They can do better than 2 scrubs and 2 distant picks. More importantly, Ayton can't be traded until next off-season.

part 2 of Chicago rebuild

Tor- Lavine
Wiz- Vanvleet
Bulls- Rui Hachimura 2023 1st raps, 2025 1st raps, 2025 1st wiz, 2026 2nd wiz, 2027 2nd raps.

because the pacers have 3 first round picks in 2023 they would prefer distant picks for sure. Value wise makes sense but I don't think Pacers want to trade Turner unless he isn't going to extend/ resign. While he's expressed unhappiness in past he may be feeling better playing with Haliburton.

Ponix front office is not going to be "authorized" to trade future assets (draft picks and/ or cap space) untIL the team is sold. Trading away these assets makes the team less valuable to a future buyer of the team.

winning -> value.
This trade makes the suns franchise significantly more valuable

but yeah on another note I cant speak on what I don't know like what is or isn't currently authorized from within the suns organization.

warriors weren't valued too high until they won't all those championships. Id say their organization would probably sell a couple pennies more than the Thunder who have the most draft picks in the nba but yeah another early playoff exit would be cool too I guess.

@ahooper. Suns are already "winning" without this trade. Thus they already have the value.

Then you also have to resign Turner who is reported wanting Ayton's extension which Phoenix HAS to do because they gave up those picks to get him. Which pushes the future salary of the team into Golden State land. Very few buyers are interested in paying $100 mil just in luxury tax over the next 2-3 years.

Nah bro that's not true. Winning a championship is a whole lot different than some regular season wins. Luxury tax concerns are however legit. Turner could get up to 30m this offseason.
