Cleveland gets: Duncan Robinson, Caleb Martin & '26 srp via Lakers
Miami gets: Isaac Okoro, Ricky Rubio, Dean Wade & Sam Merrill
Why?
Cleveland adds a shooter & a wing. They add much needed wings to the roster.
Miami does this to unload Robinson for more cap flexibility. Okoro is a decent prospect worth taking a close look. Dean Wade is a shooting big, could bring value off the bench. Rubio is non-guaranteed for next season & is considering retirement.

Cleveland gets: Tim Hardaway Jr. & Jaden Hardy
Dallas gets: Isaac Okoro, Ricky Rubio, Dean Wade & 2 2nds ('25 & '26)
Why?
Cleveland upgrades their bench.
Dallas gets salary relief next year & a cheap big who can stretch the floor.
1.) 24 Sep 2023 23:00:14
Not enough for Hardaway + Hardy.

My dream Cavs re-tool
Trade #1:
Cleveland gets: Scoot Henderson, Anfernee Simons & Jusuf Nurkic
Portland gets: Darius Garland & Jarrett Allen
Why?
Cleveland chooses to go into a different direction. As of now, their ceiling is second round, which is not enough. Scoot is a great fit next to Mitchell. Simons would be a great bench piece & Nurkic is added to match salary, but he could contribute as well.
Portland goes for players who are proven & young as well. They then have the ability to trade Lillard for players that fit next to Garland & Allen.
Trade #2:
Cleveland gets: Brandon Miller & Mark Williams
Charlotte gets: Evan Mobley & Ricky Rubio
Why?
Cleveland mixes it up to try & have a higher ceiling by going for younger players with high upside. Miller has star potential & Williams has a high ceiling himself.
Charlotte gets one of the best young players in the NBA, a good fit next to LaMelo.
In these scenarios, the Cavs do this to build around Mitchell. He's the future of this team, the best player on the roster & the only one who is close to being a superstar. If you put together a winning team next to him, he'll likely stay. Besides, the Cavs can offer him much more money compared to other teams.
Coaching change
Cavaliers fire J. B. Bickerstaff in favor of an assistant coach who is highly regarded in Charles Lee. J. B. Bickerstaff is not very well liked amongst Cavs fans thanks to some questionable decisions & poor adjustments.
Sign Wenyel Gabriel
New Cavaliers line-up:
PG: Scoot Henderson / Ty Jerome
SG: Donovan Mitchell / Anfernee Simons / Max Strus
SF: Brandon Miller / Caris LeVert / Isaac Okoro
PF: Wenyel Gabriel / Georges Niang / Dean Wade
C: Mark Williams / Jusuf Nurkic / Damian Jones
Coach: Charles Lee.

Apologies for the spam. I had to modify my trades, didn't realize they would all be posted.

Cleveland gets: Scoot Henderson, Brandon Miller, Mark Williams, Anfernee Simons, James Bouknight, 4 2nds from Charlotte & 2 2nds from Portland
Hornets receive: Evan Mobley & Jusuf Nurkic
Portland receives: Darius Garland & Jarrett Allen
Why?
The Cavs need to do some moves if they want to get out of purgatory. I really doubt we're more than a second-round exit, if we're lucky. These moves are made with the future in mind. Each team gets something good. Portland proceeds to trade Lillard for pieces that fit next to Garland & Allen. Cavs also save some money.
Charlotte swaps Miller & Williams for one of the best defensive bigs in the league with tons of upside offensively as well.
Portland builds around Garland & Allen.
New Cleveland line-up
PG: Scoot Henderson / Ty Jerome / Ricky Rubio
SG: Donovan Mitchell / Anfernee Simons / James Bouknight / Sam Merrill
SF: Brandon Miller / Max Strus / Caris LeVert / Isaac Okoro
PF: Georges Niang / Dean Wade
C: Mark Williams / Damian Jones
Coach: J. B. Bickerstaff.
1.) 18 Sep 2023 08:49:52
Why would Portland trade Henderson for another pointguard?
I do like a Mobley for Miller swap.
18 Sep 2023 06:52:52
Cleveland gets: Mark Williams, Gary Harris, Chuma Okeke & '25 top 10 protected first from Charlotte, '24 & '25 seconds from Orlando
Orlando gets: Terry Rozier, Isaac Okoro, Dean Wade & Kai Jones
Charlotte gets: Jarrett Allen & Markelle Fultz
Why?
Cleveland sacrifices Allen to get Williams, who I think has a very high ceiling, & they also get depth with Harris & Okeke. They also get a protected first.
Orlando gets a 21 PPG scorer in Rozier & some other niece pieces.
Charlotte gets an all-star caliber big that fits well next to LaMelo, Brandon Miller & get a quality back-up guard in Fultz.

How was my ESPN fantasy basketball salary cap draft? Please rate my team from 1-10, 7 or higher is good. Thinking about trading Tre Jones for a Center. I thought players could be listed in multiple positions.
Thanks for taking your time to rate my team. Appreciate everyone's feedback.
Do you think I can win the championship with that roster?
NO. PLAYER OFFER AMOUNT
20 Chet Holmgren OKC, PF $23
25 Mikal Bridges Bkn, SF $38
29 Andrew Wiggins GS, SF $5
32 Zion Williamson NO, PF $22
36 Russell Westbrook LAC, PG $6
38 Donovan Mitchell Cle, SG $37
40 Marcus Smart Mem, SG $3
45 Darius Garland Cle, PG $25
56 Tre Jones SA, PG $2
66 Aaron Gordon Den, PF $3
69 Spencer Dinwiddie Bkn, SG $7
71 Evan Mobley Cle, PF $12
87 Jarrett Allen Cle, C $4.
1.) 30 Aug 2023 05:07:59
I would say it's pretty average so 5.
2.) 31 Aug 2023 21:27:01
do the numbers mean you took zion 32nd for 22$? seems kinda odd you didnt get a pick on the top 20, but maybe im just misinformed on the format.
I think this is a super solid team:
Holmgren/ Allen
Zion/ Mobley/ Gordon
Bridges/ Wiggins
Mitchell/ Smart/ Dinwiddie
Garland/ Westbrook/ Jones
Lots of good depth. Only thing is you don't have a top-10 star, maybe Mitchell can be that guy? IDK
depth 9/ 10
firepower 8/ 10
shooting 8/ 10
defense 8.5/ 10
injury prone 6/ 10
overall 39.5/ 50 = 7.8 / 10.

Wow, that was a wild trade deadline!
Who do y'all have as winners?
I got the Nets. They got the most out of their superstars in terms of value. I think they'll still be competitive, they have some very interesting pieces & a decent coach.
1.) 10 Feb 2023 02:48:03
I like the Net, Lakers, and Blazers.
2.) 10 Feb 2023 14:21:18
Not really sure what Portland accomplished. Got a first for flipping Hart into Thybulle? Seemed pretty "meh" to me.
3.) 10 Feb 2023 19:28:08
It wasn’t great, but I’m much happier they decided to turn vets into assets than assets into vets. They weren’t contending. Might as well stock up and see what the offseason can bring.
4.) 11 Feb 2023 03:26:45
Hart is decent but like Bmiller said they aren’t contending. I very intrigued to see Reddish get pt and an opportunity to get steady minutes. I assume he will start at the 3 or be a major bench contributor. Thybulle also adds youth and elite defense.
03 Jan 2023 03:13:53
Donovan Mitchell scored 71 points in a close overtime victory over the Bulls!
Historic performance, first ever 70-10 game. He was 2 rebounds shy of a triple double.
1.) 03 Jan 2023 16:36:09
Arguably the 2nd best regular season game of all time.
2.) 03 Jan 2023 21:32:28
Wilt's 100 and Kobe's 81. Which one is not making the cut, NBA16?
3.) 04 Jan 2023 00:05:51
I honestly have it slightly over Kobe’s
71/ 8/ 11 FG:65% 3pt:46% 20FTM
81/ 6/ 2 FG:60% 3pt:53% 18FTM
Cavs/ Bulls game was also very close and Mitchell wasn’t left open as the Raps did Kobe in 4th.
4.) 04 Jan 2023 22:50:26
Idk if Wilts can ever be topped. 100 & 25, and no telling how many blocks (prolly had a triple double)
09 Dec 2022 19:15:45
The Sacramento Kings did something that went under the radar. They traded a '24 first round pick that is protected through 2026, which means they can't trade any first-round picks until '28 as long as the pick hasn't conveyed.
That is a smart move for a franchise with a shaky past. It eliminates any chance of them mortgaging their future for a star.
We've seen teams trade all their future firsts end in disaster, like the Nets-Boston transaction.
1.) 09 Dec 2022 23:22:01
Ya it’s great! Fart noise.
2.) 10 Dec 2022 03:08:09
Yea, the Kings GM has done a great job getting Sabonis, getting expiring contracts, flipping those contracts + a protected first for Huerter, and then signing Monk away from the competition (Lakers) as well as hiring Mike Brown away from the competition (Golden State) .
The Kings seriously need to extend GM Monte McNair's contract that expires at the end of this season. Then focus on extensions for Sabonis and Monk.
It seems like the only "poor" move the GM has done may have been signing Rashaun Holmes to that 4 yr/ $48 mil (last year a Player Option) contract. But if that is the only bad move, we can live with that.
I seriously think that McNair could be in running for Executive of the Year. GM Danny Ainge and David Griffin/ Trajan Langdon would be the competition in my book.
3.) 10 Dec 2022 18:49:37
@Fredman honestly, $12 million per season is pretty reasonable. They can easily move on from him if they don't want him.
26 Sep 2023 23:43:28
Cleveland declines. DFS is 30 & Dort is undersized.
21 Sep 2023 22:39:18
Absolute yes from Cleveland.
18 Sep 2023 08:31:33
Apologies for the spam. I had to modify my trades, didn't realize they would all be posted.
18 Sep 2023 02:10:38
The new team has a much higher ceiling than our current one. Need a coaching change as well though.
17 Sep 2023 18:06:41
Thanks for the counter, but Mitchell is the most untouchable player in our roster.
16 Feb 2023 21:49:16
Mike Bibby was a big part of those fun Sacramento Kings teams. I don't know if he had all-star accolades, but he certainly passed the eye test.
05 Jan 2023 15:33:08
1)Fox
2)Sabonis
3)Mobley
4)D Mitchell
5)Zion
6)Paul George
7)SGA
8)Anfernee Simmons
9)Dejounte Murray
10)Mathurin.
15 Dec 2022 17:23:03
Harris+Ross+Franz Wagner+Return Chicago
That's a massive overpay. I wouldn't trade Wagner straight up for LaVine.
10 Dec 2022 18:50:57
The Mavs need to do something fast, or else Luka is going to demand a trade. Losing Brunson was a big blow to that franchise.
10 Dec 2022 18:49:37
