Min - Russell, Matthews
Dallas - Rubio, #7
Lakers - #9, Tyus Jones

I think Minnesota only does this if Isaac is gone at #7. I he's there, they'll take him as a good fit alongside Wiggins and KAT.

2.) 20 Jun 2017 19:43:59
Completely agree.

Knicks - Rozier, Brown
Celtics - Anthony

I don't see the Knicks getting a better return on Anthony than this. Brown off to a rocky start but has potential, Rozier could turn into a starter in this league.

Salary cap anyone?

2.) 27 Jan 2017 13:38:17
The Celtics would not take Anthony if the Knicks offered to to give him away for free. It is ludicrous to think that Boston would give away two young players with promise for a ball hog who doesn't play defense, doesn't rebound and would rather have the NY nightlife that play on a good team.
Phil Jackson is learning that Anthony has zero trade value.

3.) 27 Jan 2017 13:55:44
Not only the $$ but C's need to replace Brown with a case of peanuts. I'd like to think that Boston's name is being mentioned as only a third team to facilitate this deal with Cleveland for Melo going there and Love going the the C's.

4.) 27 Jan 2017 14:29:21
ESPN trade checker says you need to cut 14.5 mil from Celtics side. Unless you add Amir Johnson and another bench player, this isn't happening.

5.) 27 Jan 2017 18:24:08
Decent return but the cap problem is not possible.

6.) 27 Jan 2017 21:45:50
Ny get supercolider classless fan who would catch a beat down anywhere ny
Boston get Melo instantly leading C's scorer.

No picks needed. Worthy swap for NYers

Milwaukee - Rubio, Dieng, 2018 1st
Minnesota - Parker.

KATsoutofthebag

1.) 01 Sep 2016 16:17:05
Your a real comedian.

2.) 01 Sep 2016 16:24:42
I'm not sure if Rubio even helps the bucks. Giannis is their pg now. So with rubios lack of scoring ability I don't even know if he helps them. Dieng isn't bad for them but they did just draft thin maker who does the same thing. And the first is two year from now so I don't see the value.

3.) 01 Sep 2016 17:23:02
I guess I would be surprised if the Bucks really proceed with Giannis as their primary PG.

Is Parker untouchable from the Bucks perspective?

Bucks were linked to Rubio rumors in the past so that's why I picked him over Dunn, does Dunn make a difference?

4.) 01 Sep 2016 19:00:42
Parker could be a top 20 player. a deal for him starts at Dunn and Lavine for Parker and Maker.

5.) 01 Sep 2016 19:34:42
This is terrible for the bucks giannis ran the offense last year for half the season Rubio could go to bucks but twolves won't get Giannis parker or Middleton, bucks already turned down Middleton for Rubio and the 5th pick.

6.) 01 Sep 2016 19:44:21
Kat

Giannis will definately be their pg going forward. He put up monster numbers on that spot in his first season. He's young enough to get better and fix the flaws he had playing that spot too.

Parker is close to untouchable from a bucks perspective. They see him like Wiggins is seen from a minny point of view. They think he has high upside and would only trade him for a star.

I personally hate the way they've coached Parker. Forced him to be a pf when I always felt he was a sf. But bucks did wat they felt they had to.

7.) 01 Sep 2016 19:47:12
We consider Parker as valuable or more valuable as Middleton who you offered Dunn, Rubio, and Dieng for.... We declined

8.) 01 Sep 2016 22:42:18
If minny offered that i wouldn't except either.

9.) 01 Sep 2016 22:45:05
Minny never offered that, that's insane. They offered Rubio and a protected first.

Rubio, Dunn, and Dieng is an absurd overpay for Middleton, and if Milwaukee passed they're pretty stupid.

10.) 02 Sep 2016 03:15:24
Bucks

The deal was Rubio and a 1st for Middleton, Dieng was never a part of the deal.

11.) 02 Sep 2016 03:36:36
What exactly has Parker done in the NBA? LaVine has shone more.

12.) 02 Sep 2016 06:50:32
Bmiller you're very wrong, so don't be an idiot, and wolves fan Deadline deal was originally Rubio and the 5th pick, the Bucks said no, which prompted Minnesota to add either shaynas or Dieng (bucks choice) and bucks still said no.

13.) 02 Sep 2016 13:45:53
No, the original process went like this:

Bucks wanted Rubio.

Wolves demanded Middleton be apart of any trade for Rubio

Bucks decided this was too high of an asking price

Wolves dangled their pick (with or without protections we don't actually know)

Bucks still said no

And we have no idea what other pieces may have been invlolved.

14.) 03 Sep 2016 01:58:47
Lavine had not shown more parker was on his way to being rookie of the year over Wiggins before he got hurt.

Thoughts on why KG and wolves are working towards buyout? I get that this isn't a charity league so they can't just hand out $8 Mil like its nothing but I imagine they could leverage a final season from KG into at least that much money in increased ticket sales, advertising, etc. Is KG asking for the buy out? Wolves have plenty of cap space UNLESS they are planning a big trade which I have no idea what that would be?

Kg was and is not so much about the money As his lockout creating contract would have you believe. If he knows he can't contribute he doesn't want a symbolic salary just to sit on the IR. besides he already has a mentor relationship with KAT and a player development role under thibs alongside a coming stake in ownership. He knows he can do more for the team in a suit than a uniform. I trust Kevin's judgment more than just about anyone else in Minny sports. He's earned that.

2.) 23 Sep 2016 03:09:15
If KG is requesting it by all means he deserves it.

3.) 23 Sep 2016 12:52:17
He should buy the Wolves.

4.) 23 Sep 2016 16:00:06
I believe there's a plan in place for Garnett to buy in.

5.) 24 Sep 2016 11:55:43
KG Done.

Matthews is going to have a big year this year - my long shot bet for most improved player. Plus, his contract looks reasonable after the craziness of this summer. No way Dallas does this.

Monroe barely gets you a second round pick let alone Kevin Love.

No from Wolves in my opinion. If the wolves wanted Murray they would've drafted him over Dunn. Taking those two and the Bucks out not sure Wolves would trade Lavine for Nukic ad Barton.

There's a much better chance Embid is out of the league in 5 years than him ever making an All Star Game.

Lavine and Towns seem like easy decisions to me, especially Towns. Randle vs Dieng is toss up with Randle having more upside but Dieng more consistent as of today (also 5 years older) . Right now I'd go Russell and Wiggins but I'd want to watch the rookies play in the NBA before making a decision.

Trade him for whatever they can get. Admittedly I haven't watched many Sixers games over the past few years (who has? ) but I don't get the hype, the guy barely puts up Gorgui Dieng numbers.
