If Dirk takes less to open up more salary space.

Dallas:

*Assuming Parsons leaves and Deron Williams takes player option/ signs for around same value

Let go: Pachulia, Felton, Villanueva, McGee
Resign: Mejri: whatever his value is, Dalembert: vet min, Powell (qualifying offer)
Sign: Harrison Barnes and Hassan Whiteside: both max

Williams/ Barea
Matthews/ Harris
Barnes/ Andersen
Dirk/ Powell
Whiteside/ Mejri.

They definitely need too make a run at top level younger players this offseason. They need to start thinking about someone who is going to take over after Dirk. They aren't a team based on stability and they always look to play the free agent game and never really get that prize.

But as for what your deal is, I honestly don't see Barnes leaving Golden State. But I also expect both Williams and Parsons to resign for lesser contracts too so that they can make runs at free agents.

Bulls: (Monday edition)

Let go: Gasol, Brooks
Resign: Noah: 10m/ yr, Moore 3m/ yr
Pick up options: Felicio and Bairstow
Draft: Denzel Valentine, Perry Ellis

Bulls-Bucks *assuming they trade away Monroe this summer*

Bulls: Taj Gibson, Nikola Mirotic, Sac 2016 pick (maybe additional '17 pick if needed)
Bucks: Kris Middleton

Rose/ Moore/ Holiday
Middleton/ McDermott/ Dunleavy
Butler/ Valentine/ Snell
Portis/ Ellis/ (FA vet)
Noah/ Felicio/ Bairstow.

Middelton and Butler would be awesome at the 2&3. Both great two way players.

Kings: (for fun, not serious)

Let go: no one
Resign: Rondo: whatever his value is, Curry: 2-3/ year
Sign: Terrance Jones: market value (should be done bc of his role now), Matt Barnes: 7m/ year (or less)

Kings-Rockets

Kings: James Harden
Rockets: Rudy Gay, WCS, future pick (if necessary)

Rondo/ Collison/ Curry
Harden/ McLemore
Barnes/ Belinelli
Jones/ Casspi
Cousins/ Koufos

Bad boys v2? and I tried to load the starters with unselfish players (Rondo/ Barnes/ Jones) bc of Harden and Cousins being demanding (rightfully so) with the ball.

cwj

1.) 29 Apr 2016 16:41:34
Wouldn't really think that Jones would fit too well. Maybe try and get Ryan Anderson to stretch the floor?

2.) 29 Apr 2016 19:03:17
@LarryLegend33 I did look into Ryan Anderson but wasn't sure if they would have enough cap space after Cousins, Harden, Rondo and the minor contracts of Jones, Barnes, Koufos and Collison.

Bulls:

Let go: Gasol, Brooks, Bairstow, Noah
Resign: Moore (4m/ yr)
Pick up option on: Felcio
Draft: Denzel Valentine, Brice Johnson
Sign: Batum (20m/ yr), Matt Barnes (market value)
Trade Dunleavy for future 2nd

Bulls-Nets

Bulls: Taj Gibson, Nikola Mirotic, 2016 2nd round pick
Nets: Brooke Lopez

Rose/ Moore/ Holiday
Butler/ McDermott/ Snell
Batum/ Valentine/ Snell
Barnes/ Portis/ Johnson
Lopez/ Felicio/ Johnson.

1.) 25 Apr 2016 16:28:48
Brook* sorry for the misspelling.

2.) 25 Apr 2016 18:32:48
I think Bulls fans going to say no, but i like this trade
The nets can rebuilt and the bulls get another potential all star.

3.) 25 Apr 2016 20:35:20
@Gasupo I am a Bulls fan :D.

4.) 25 Apr 2016 21:48:17
Don't think Bulls have that much cap, each starter is getting paid at least 14m.

5.) 25 Apr 2016 22:51:06
@NBA Rose's contract would be up after the year so it would be one year, if that, in the tax.

If Matt Barnes is getting 14m (I'm assuming you understood that by what you said), then I'm getting an upgrade at PF for 14m/ yr. lol.

Bulls:

Let go: Noah, Gasol, Brooks
Resign: Moore (3-4m/ yr)
Pick up option on: Felicio, Bairstow
Draft: Denzel Valentine
Sign: Hassan Whiteside (20m/ yr)

Bulls-Nets

Bulls: Bogan Bogdonavic
Nets: Mike Dunleavy, 2nd round pick in '16

Bulls-Nuggets

Bulls: Wilson Chandler
Nuggets: Taj Gibson, Doug McDermott

Rose/ Moore/ Holiday
Butler/ Bogdonavic/ Snell
Chandler/ Valentine/ Snell
Portis/ Mirotic/ (FA)
Whiteside/ Felicio/ Bairstow.

cwj

1.) 22 Apr 2016 16:06:13
No starter shoots more than 34% from 3.
Not sure the Bulls go through wit the nuggets trade.

2.) 22 Apr 2016 16:14:17
@DaBULLS I wasn't more less trying to rebuild a Warriors identity, to be honest.

I was trying to bring in someone to play defense down low (Key: Portis + Whiteside) while bringing in a D-and-3 wing in which Chandler can be.

Just wanted to bring in a team with the 1-4 being pretty mobile and all shooting decent mid-range while having a rim protector under the goal putting pressure on other teams to shoot 3's against the 1-3/ 4 protecting the outside.

The bench is merely scorers to give the starters a break and not have to worry about coming back in after a 3 minute break and not having scored anything. The bench, as listed above, would be a pretty good all around bunch (Valentine-Felcio can pass and rebound) whereas Moore, Bogdonavic and Mirotic can hit the 3s at a good rate on good nights.

Not saying this team would be a forsure championship contender, but I always post a different viewpoint of the Bulls every Monday and Friday lol.

Sorry posts is so long, I never read anyone's post who write this much. Cheers and have a great weekend.

3.) 22 Apr 2016 18:28:09
Yes I've noticed. Most aren't too bad. While I agree with a lot of your premises, I'm not sure having one starter able to stretch the floor qualifies as a "warriors identity"

I think this year we had 3 problems:
1) No clear leadership
2) No Rim protection (which I'm with you, I hope we let Pau and Jo walk for Whiteside)
3) Terrible 3 point shooting to stretch the floor. i'm hesitant on mcbuckets and michael jeffery dunleyvey leaving and being replaced with wilson chandler.

Chicago-Detroit

Chicago: Marcus Morris
Detroit: Nikola Mirotic, future pick [if necessary]

Bulls v2: (just ending the day on a different note)

Let walk: Gasol, Brooks, Bairstow
Resign: Moore (3-4m/ yr)
Pick up option on: Felicio
Sign: Durant (max/ one year), Matt Barnes (market value), Noah (10m/ yr)
Draft: Valentine and Ellis
*if available*
Trade: Gibson, Mirotic and McDermott for draft picks (sorry don't have trades to offer as visual representations)

Rose/ Moore/ Holiday
Butler/ Dunleavy/ Snell
Durant/ Valentine/ Snell
Barnes/ Portis/ Ellis
Noah/ Felicio/ (FA)

cwj

1.) 09 Apr 2016 00:07:19
Durant i think is a long especially to a broken team right now. Give a try on Harrison Barnes or Nic Batum.

Bulls offseason v2 this week (bored, sorry guys)

Gonna go a different route and hope for the best.

let walk: Gasol (stay with me), Brooks
resign: Moore (3-4m/ year), Noah (8-9m/ year)
pick up options: Bairstow and Felicio
sign: Courtney Lee or Lance Stephenson (8-10m/ year)
*only applies if MEM declines his option*

draft: Denzel Valentine, Perry Ellis (not changing these two for now)

Rose/ Moore/ Holiday
Lee (or Stephenson) / McDermott/ Snell
Butler/ Dunleavy/ Valentine
Portis/ Mirotic/ Ellis
Noah/ Gibson/ Bairstow

Tried to keep it somewhat simple and is actually close to same team salary as this year's team.

Also offers options for next year's free agency with Rose (hopefully they resign at cheaper rate [my fav player]), Gibson, Mirotic (if underperforms) and Dunleavy's contracts expiring.

off season:

Bulls: Kris Middleton,
Bucks: Pau Gasol (s&t), maybe future pick

If Bucks can combine this with a trade of Greg Monroe for a PG?

Just looking from a Bulls' perspective.

Rose/ Moore (letting Brooks walk)
Middleton/ McDermott
Butler/ Dunleavy
Portis/ Mirotic
Noah (resign) / Gibson (or trade Gibson)

dreams for Bulls this off season:

Bulls: Pau Gasol (s&t)
Grizzlies: Lance Stephenson (s&t), Tony Allen, maybe a pick if necessary

-reunite Gasols (& i think too expensive to resign unfortunately)

Draft night:

Bulls: Sac pick, Taj Gibson
Raptors: Nuggets pick

draft: Jamal Murray

rest of picks: Denzel Valentine, Perry Ellis (if Ellis falls that far - projected right now as one spot above Bulls)

-resign Noah for 3yr/ 24-27m
-resign E'Twaun Moore (whatever value is)
-pick up option on Felicio
-do not resign Brooks or Bairstow
-sign Amare Stoudemire for reasonable price

Rose/ Moore/ Murray
Stephenson/ Allen/ Valentine
Butler/ McDermott/ Dunleavy
Portis/ Mirotic/ Ellis
Noah/ Stoudemire/ Felicio

-Valentine/ Ellis/ Murray eventually slide in to back-up roles after next season (Mirotic and Dunleavy may leave + Allen's contract will be up)

cwj

1.) 01 Mar 2016 11:47:56
Why would you pick Murray in the top 10 and have him as a 3rd stringer.

Just think of the PG hierarchy.

1) Curry
2) WB
3) CP3
4) Damian

Not including LBJ, Durant, Kawhi, Harden, Cousins (best center in my opinion) and Anthony Davis.

What if you exchanged the Griffin trade to the Celtics for Crowder and a future pick?

we need a starting SF and trade noah and/or gibson for a center/pf(gasol can play both as he did this year at times).
