With my other post . and the assumption that the George Hill trade happens.

CLE gets: Derrick Favors, Thabo Sefolosha, Dorian Finney-Smith

DAL gets: Tristan Thompson

UTAH gets: Isaih Thomas, Nerlens Noel

Cleveland gets another big man that more of a post player to go with Cousins (my earlier posted trade) and some defensive wing help.

Dallas gets an aggressive big man and rebounder; something they didn't get with Noel and one that is under contract for the near future.

Utah gets an attacking Point Guard (with an expiring deal) and a defensive big man (expiring deal) ; with Gobert not being healthy. Favors (1bpg avg) isn't much of a defensive pressence.

Cavs Lineup:
PG: George Hill, Derrick Rose
SG: Thabo Sefolosha, Dwayne Wade, JR Smith
SF: LeBron James, Kyle Korver
PF: Derrick Favors, Jae Crowder
C: DeMarcus Cousins,

Probably have to make a smaller trade to get another big man. Moving Jeff Green, Jose Calderon, JR Smith (Longshot lol) or sign someone.

i really don't see IT getting traded unless its as part of a package that yields a star coming to cleveland.

I see some "fun" trade on here so here's some of my own .

CLE gets: DeMarcus Cousins, Ed Davis, Shabazz Napier

NO gets: Nets 1st Round Pick, 2nd Round Pick from POR, Mo Harkless, Jusuf Nurkic

POR gets: Kevin Love

Cleveland gets Cousins to help in playoffs and gives LeBron a big to try and keep him in town. If LeBron leaves, Cousins deal is expiring so they'll have over $40M in cap space between the two of them opening up. They also land the PG that LeBron wanted when he was in Miami.

New Orleans probably wouldn't do this trade because Cousins and Davis get along so well and they are in the playoffs picture right now. Nurkic would be a solid big man in return but they would have to resign him. Obviously the Nets pick would be the highlight return.

Portland lands Kevin Love to pair with Lillard and McCollum. May have to throw in their 1st round pick instead of the 2nd rounder.
**** hard to proof read in this little box, hopefully its easy to understand the points I was trying to make LOL ***.

i don't think portland would have much reason to be a part of this, they are giving up a bit too much to roll the dice on love and his 20+ mil a season working out next to dame+ cj especially with the diminished bench they would have after this trade.

2.) 26 Jan 2018 13:55:07
Good point . they would definitely need a backup PG after a trade like this. Or have Evan Turner handle the ball more.

After rumors come out of Cleveland about Love; he will be a risk in any trade but he's still at talent who can score inside and outside. I think that could help Portland.

Dallas Trades: Wesley Matthews

Minnesota Trades: Ricky Rubio

I think in Rubio's 5 years he has shown what he is and I don't think he is the future pg of Twolves franchise. They obviously felt similarly and drafted Jones and Dunn. I think they should move him to provide more minutes to them to see if they are the pg of the future. This will also likely lead to Twolves losing more games improving their lottery odds to add another young prospect to the mix.

Matthews would be a very solid pickup for Twolves who should be in playoff contention next season (3 games out this year I guess their chances aren't completely out the window) . I think it would take more than Rubio (maybe Shabazz too) in order to convince the Mavs to give him up but the Mavs should certainly be shopping him as they should be going younger to rebuild.

2.) 21 Jan 2017 23:06:33
I don't think the Mavs should do it as they should just draft a top point guard in the draft

Sign and Trade between Mavs and Suns

Mavs get: Eric Bledsoe

Suns get: Tyson Chandler (S&T), draft pick

Chandler is already on the suns bro

2.) 04 Jul 2015 13:56:11
All this comments from clueless People. Suns wanna sign Aldridge as well, in this case they would Need a S&T for Chandler!

@kcku I like it, but I think Suns would as more! So we Need Chandler, a future 1st and maybe a good Shooting Guard form elsewhere.

3.) 04 Jul 2015 15:02:11
@dgray7 Chandler is not already on the Suns. Players can't officially sign and join a team until July 9, 2015.

@d_drainr Thanks for the positive feedback. I never specify a round for draft picks when I post trades but I agree that it would have to be a 1st round pick.

Getting rid of a large contract like Bledsoe would help if they land Aldridge. If they have to pay Bledsoe, Chandler and possibly Aldridge, that would account for more than half of their cap space. I thought this would be a good idea for both teams.

4.) 04 Jul 2015 16:17:56
He signed with the suns. Its not official but why would he want to help the mavs get something in return for him if he plays for a rival in the same division?

5.) 04 Jul 2015 18:14:06
Aldrige said he'll be join the Spurs anyway so. yea no point in S&T

Paying Batum $24M next year . $25.5M the year after . and $27.1M the year after that for 9.3ppg, 5.2rpg, and 3.3apg is a terrible idea. Granted Chris Paul's deal is 1000x worse; this gets them further away from a championship.

No way the Knicks have room to sign Jordan back after signing Kyrie and KD. He would have to come back for peanuts. He made just under $23M last year and his stats have been pretty consistent over the past 7 years. I don't see him taking that big of a cut.

Hawks don't get any better with this deal. They have 2 top 10 picks with the potential to find a player to pair with Trae Young for the next 4 years at least, and on rookie deals. No reason to go out and spend $26M per year on Holiday over the next 4 years.

Pelicans would make out on this deal and get tons of youth and potential on rookie deals.

All true but separate trades. Cavs got a "heavily protected" 2nd round pick from Miami for Wade.

Mahinmi is over paid too. I don't see a reason to bring in another overpaid center when they still have Noah (he said he won't agree to a buyout; well see today though) .

I don't see Washington doing this other than to get Mahinmi off the books. If that's the only reason, I wouldn't give up Oubre. Oubre and Porter play the same position; Oubre should light more of a fire under Porter than Lee.

Mahinmi $16.6M / 3 years
Lee $11.7M / 3 years
O'Quinn $4M / 2 years
Oubre $2M / 2 years.
